I just finished @jenafriedman’s “Not Funny”, and absolutely loved it. So much so I wanted to post about it! I haven’t read such an absolutely hilarious, profound, moving, and inspirational book in a very a long time. It’s also so refreshing to read a book by a great writer; Friedman’s prose has such a uniquely visceral, funny and informed tone to it, that is unlike anyone else in comedy, (and media in general), today.
