RASA presents Perc | Fri, 7 Aug Few artists have shaped contemporary techno quite like Perc (@perctrax). As the founder of Perc Trax and one of the genre’s most influential producers, he has spent more than two decades pushing dance music into darker, heavier, and more experimental territory—bridging industrial textures, uncompromising rhythms, and the physicality of the club.Whether through his own productions or the artists championed on Perc Trax, Perc has continually challenged the boundaries of techno while remaining firmly rooted in the dancefloor. His DJ sets reflect that same philosophy, moving effortlessly between cutting-edge productions, forgotten classics, and leftfield electronics to create something that feels both unpredictable and relentlessly propulsive.Setting the pace on Floor is Haan (@haan_303), whose selections trace the outer edges of techno through electro, breaks, and deep-rooted club sensibilities. Taking the night forward, Taz Angullia (@tazangullia) goes b2b with Erwin Linden (@erwinlinden_), bringing together her percussive, globally informed approach and Erwin’s patient, long-form style, honed through years behind @krate_sg Together, they lay the foundations before Perc takes the room deeper into the night.Meanwhile in the Hall, Aida (@aidarafaelixzx) and Watch Her Bern (@watchherbern) go b2b for an evening that leans into groove, warmth, and playful rhythms. Underground club nights have always been more than just parties. They are spaces where sounds evolve, communities form, and music moves without compromise or trend-chasing. These nights become the soil where new ideas and energies quietly take root.It is with this same spirit that .KRATE (@krate_sg) curates is proud to present its next edition at Rasa Space on Friday, 1 May. Please note we’ve had to move the date from the original 2 May — sorry for any inconvenience caused.On The Floor, the focus stays true to straight techno. Headlining the room is DEAS (@deasdj), the Polish-Greek artist whose raw, hypnotic productions balance heavy grooves with warm, psychedelic melodies — a sound shaped by his Greek origins and East European roots. Joining him are Arai.ki (@arai.ki_) B2B Aufa, James Selva (@iriejamesy) with his fluid genre-blurring journeys, and Taz Angullia (@tazangullia) B2B Erwin Linden (@erwinlinden_). 𝟏𝟏 𝐎𝐜𝐭, 𝐒𝐚𝐭—.𝐊𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐰/ 𝐑𝐔𝐈𝐙 𝐎𝐒𝐂𝟏ㅤLocal collective .KRATE takes over RASA Hall & Floor for their 5th anniversary with Colombian techno powerhouse RUIZ OSC1, joined by .KRATE's Erwin Linden, Taz Angullia, as well as Sivilian Affair's Sivanesh and Algorhythm's James Selva. At Hall, local newcomers Brian and Dodi join 3MZY and Loyboy.ㅤBorn in Bogotá and raised in a home filled with music—her mother a singer and record dealer—Ruiz OSC1 grew up with salsa, merengue, and Colombian folkloric sounds that continue to echo through her work. After moving to Europe in 2010, she began fusing those roots with driving, high-energy techno, developing what she calls “folkloric groove techno.”ㅤShe’s played at Bassiani, Tresor, RSO, Basement NYC, and festivals across Europe, with releases on KAOS, Emerald, and Molekül.
