Y’all did your part, so here is mine! Lemon bars for all!🍋BUT we need to keep tagging @pbs and @pbsgreatperformances to get @catsjellicleball a proshot. This show is historic in that it completely reimagines Cats in the Harlem Ballroom scene. This is theatre history, this is black history, this is queer history, and this is ultimately American history. This show is a bright shining gem that deserves and NEEDS to be preserved for future generations to see. As always with these posts, I know the it is unlikely this will happen. However at least we tried and maybe this advocacy will open doors in other ways like a cast album? 💿 An off Broadway transfer? 🎭 A West End production? 🇬🇧💂A national tour? 🚙🚚🚛Who knows what impact we could have from speaking up about the importance of Jellicle Ball.
