“some days i’m the captain of my own ship, and others i’m the architect of my own destruction”

this past year has been an adventure. i’ve finished chapters in my life and have began writing a ton of new ones. it’s been an exciting and difficult year both academically and personally. a lot has happened in such a short amount of time, but i am truly blessed. for years, i’ve been writing poetry as a way to cope with my feelings both good and bad. so with this year being an emotional rollercoaster, i found no better way to cope except with my writing. my poetry has always been incredibly personal to me and sharing it with people has always been a form of intimacy for me. with all these things happening around me, i decided to write and publish a collection of poems, and with that i’m EXTREMELY excited to announce that my first collection entitled “an ode to the lost” is now available for purchase on amazon!!!! the link is now also available in my bio!!!
just a quick thank you to everyone who supported me along this journey. thank you to everyone who let me rant, cry, and talk about the situations i wrote about. and for those of you who decide to purchase, check out, share my book, or simply just read this post, thank you!
