🌟 2026 Year of the Horse is officially off to an exciting start! 🌟

I am so excited to announce KR Dressage is officially moving to Rancho Agave Equestrian Ferbruary 1! We’re thrilled to begin this next chapter, which feels like coming home for Elton and I 🥹🦄. This facility offers an incredible environment for our horses and riders, and we’re very much looking forward to what’s ahead!

At the same time, we want to express our sincere gratitude to Hidden Hills Equestrian Ranch for nearly a year of outstanding care and support. The time we spent there was incredibly meaningful, and we’re thankful for everything the Hidden Hills team has done for our horses and program. Nichole, Nick, Courtney, Marilyn, and Kevin — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us into your home, sharing your space, and being such dedicated horse people. It has truly been a magical time at Hidden Hills.

Exciting times ahead, grateful for where we’ve been, and looking forward to the journey at Rancho Agave 💕🙌

Another great @hits_delmar show in the books! As always, thank you to the village that puts these shows on for us and all of the sponsors that make it all possible 🙏

Prince continues to develop confidence in the show arena - earning up to 70% at 3rd Level this last weekend! I love seeing his trust continue to grow and am so excited for his future!

His big brother Elton came out for some schooling and lessons, and all of a sudden he feels like a grown up 🥹🥹 (he’s always still a goofy baby in my eyes). Huge thank you to Kathleen for the exceptional help all week!

As always, thank you to the team behind the scenes and the partners that keep these horses looking and feeling their best!

The first half of the year has absolutely FLOWN by 🤯! I am so grateful every day that we get to call this beautiful place home. @rancho_agave_eq is such a special place for our horses and the humans that love them 🦄💕. We have had a jam packed start of 2026 and I am very excited to see what the rest of the year has in store!

I have limited spots coming available in our growing program. Some of the many highlights include:
🔸 Custom tailored training programs aimed at developing both horse and rider together from the ground up.
🔸 World-class facilities: multiple arenas with Atwood Premium Waterless footing, grass riding arenas and grazing pastures, all-day turnout, bridle paths through all 60 acres of the property
🔸 Opportunities to compete year-round (always encouraged but never required!)
🔸 Cross-training for all horses: Cavalettis, track work, grass field riding
🔸 Schoolmaster available for lessons
🔸 Misting system throughout the barn to keep the horses cool in the summer, Theraplate, hot and cold wash racks…and so much more!

Please feel free to send me a message with any questions or to set up a tour, trailer-in lesson, or lesson on a schoolmaster! by @krdressage

I’ve had a few days back home after our show last weekend, and I thought it would be really interesting to showcase some of our “tricky” moments that improved dramatically throughout the weekend.

Prince is still quite new to my program, so we are still figuring out his ideal horse show “routine” and what makes him tick in a warmup environment. We started the weekend with a tough 56% (ouch!), but wrapped up on the final day with a 66%. 🦄📉➡️📈

To his absolute credit, Prince was trying his heart out and remained incredibly well-behaved the entire time, but the internal tension on Day 1 was real—he was backed off the leg, tight in the connection, and rushing the rhythm.

When a horse is tense but still trying to be a good boy, you don’t force the issue. You go back to the basics and work through the challenges systematically. We spent the next 48 hours focusing entirely on relaxation, suppling, and letting him find his shape - opting to scratch on Saturday and hope for a better chance on Sunday.

By the final day, the relaxation kicked in, the rhythm settled, and he was completely back with me. Progress is rarely a straight line, but staying consistent and trusting the process always pays off. by @krdressage

We had a great outing this weekend @galwaydownsequestrian Cheers to Summer Show! It was a hot one 🥵 but the staff and volunteers made sure that the horses and riders were taken care of all weekend. The dinners on Friday and Saturday night were a blast! It was wonderful to be able to support our @usdfregion7 JR/YR fundraiser as well!

HUGE Congratulations to the newest members of the KR Dressage family Carol and Valmano who earned both of their final scores for their silver medal this weekend and won all 3 of their PSG classes! 🥈🎊🦄

Elton and Tooey came along for a field trip and some schooling and both boys were absolute gentleman. Big thank you to Kathleen for all the excellent coaching this weekend!

Prince 👑 was a little overwhelmed by the atmosphere the first few days of the show - but by Sunday he really gained confidence and relaxation. He ended the weekend with a 66% and a lovely, clean ride. He is really coming into his own and it’s been a rewarding challenge developing his potential.

As always, it takes a village and I couldn’t do it without mine! Grateful for this journey and all of the people and horses we get to share it with 🙏🐎🫶

👑 Good boy, Prince! 👑 We had a wonderful time at the Del Mar National this year - capping out a busy spring of shows @hits_delmar. Huge thank you to @keenandressage and team for yet another great show!

My only goal with Prince was to just build his confidence, especially in the warm-up arena, and he did just that! We really focused on relaxation - I’m so impressed with how much trust we have built over a short period of time together. I think we are just scratching the surface of what he has to show off! 🤩

I could not be more proud of all of the KR Dressage horses and riders this weekend. My big boy Elton (Pinball Wizard) stepped into the 3rd Level arena and handled himself like the true professional he is. At just coming 6 this year, I am yet again amazed at his eagerness to learn and how strong our partnership is. Huge thank you to Kathleen Raine for the excellent coaching!
*
*
Prince (Indigo) joined us for the first time, and after just over a month together, he built up his confidence in the show arena and was a real gentleman - improving his scores by nearly 5% in just one day.
*
*
Michelle and Tooey (Two Souls) rocked their class on Sunday and had beautiful rides throughout the whole weekend. It is really special watching their partnership continue to develop!

Turns out the real freestyles happen after the rides! 🎤🎶

HITS Dressage had a fun karaoke concert last night with some stellar vocals from Riders, Stewards, Judges, and the Show Manager herself, this was an amazing night to remember! 🎵
