You’re a captive agent who doesn’t own your book, stick around.
In a lot of captive setups you trade some commission for a steady paycheck, and I get it, steady is nice. But you built that book of clients, and when you leave, it stays behind. Ownership never vests. You’re not becoming the agency owner. That’s not a knock on you. That’s just how the arrangement works.
Tomorrow night, 8 PM Eastern, Dylan Crane and the leadership team are running a webinar on what it looks like to build something you actually own. Dylan wrote $1.9 million in annual premium his first year, which I find mildly offensive. He’ll explain how.
It’s free. You can complain about it afterward.

“Coaching is my happy place. 🏆 Watching athletes grow, compete, and believe in themselves never gets old. The wins are great, but seeing confidence, discipline, and character develop is what makes it all worth it. Proud to be part of the journey.”
“Behind every athlete is a story of hard work, sacrifice, and determination. Coaching gives me a front-row seat to that journey, and there’s nowhere I’d rather be. This is my happy place.”

This week we say goodbye to one of football’s true icons. Coaches like Bill Parcells, John Madden, and Iron Mike Ditka built the game on grit, discipline, and hard work. No gimmicks. No excuses. Just smashmouth football, accountability, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Their legacy reminds us that toughness, preparation, and tenacity never go out of style. Rest in peace to one of the game’s legendary leaders. Your impact on football will never be forgotten.

Watching the Cowboys get wrecked while working late and providing for my family? That’s what I call a productive night. 😎🏈
Still up after everyone else had gone to bed, taking care of clients in Alaska, making things happen for the family. As a Giants fan, getting to watch the Cowboys get embarrassed by a winless Bucs team led by a rookie QB was just an added bonus. Some people call it working late. I call it getting paid to enjoy the show.

Beautiful fall morning, so naturally I spent it lifting heavy things in my garage with Viking worship music blasting. Neighbors are thrilled, I’m sure. Workout done, now it’s time to go grind. Some of us have families to protect and clients to call. Anyone else start the day by punishing themselves on purpose? #garagegym #workoutmotivation #fallworkout #over50fitness #christianmotivation fatherof5 insuranceagent grindmode by @krechnitzer

💎 They gave me a giant fake diamond for writing $15,000 in one week.
To be fair, Griff Martin and the team threw one heck of a party, put on a great event, and handed out some pretty cool awards.
I did ask if the next milestone comes with a real diamond.
Apparently, that’s not how this works.
All jokes aside, I’m grateful for the recognition and even more grateful for the families who trust me to help protect what matters. The fake diamond is nice, but the opportunity to make an impact is the real reward.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got another fake diamond to earn.

The view is incredible... but what excites me most isn’t the stadium or the skyline. It’s knowing the best chapters are still being written. 🚀🏔️ “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” feels like the perfect soundtrack for what’s ahead.
Denver showing off today, but the future is looking even better. Keep building, keep believing, and keep moving forward. The view from here is amazing... but we’re not done climbing.

We didn’t come for lunch... we came for a hostile takeover of Henry’s Tavern. 🍕🔥 Hot honey pepperoni pizza just entered the chat, and productivity officially clocked out.
Lunch break turned pizza party at Henry’s Tavern! The crew rolled in, claimed the place as our temporary headquarters, and now we’re waiting on that hot honey pepperoni masterpiece. Sweet, spicy, cheesy perfection. If you’re going to break for lunch, do it right. 🍕🔥😎

When you’re looking into mortgage protection and call the number on the letter... then your banker says, “That’s a scam.”
Funny... if protecting the mortgage is a scam, why are families using life insurance every day to pay off homes, replace income, and protect the people they love? Sounds less like protecting the customer and more like protecting the bank’s interests. 🤔
Before you call something a scam, maybe understand what it actually does. A mortgage protection policy protects the family. The mortgage protects the bank. Big difference.
