My heart goes out to Nepal. Since the flash flood hit Nepal’s Trishuli River valley, it’s been difficult to take my mind off the destruction and long long road ahead. And this weekend, much of the country is experiencing intense precipitation.

So often Nepal is depicted through its rugged high alpine terrain which is home to the tallest mountains in the world. In my time in Nepal, I found myself captivated by the dense foothills that lead up to the high peaks. We’d ride our bikes from the arid high desert, following single track trails plunging down thousands of feet through each ecosystem as we made our way down to the river valleys below.

This “middle hills” terrain is characterized by dramatic slopes of seasonally-lush subtropical forest, threaded together by clay dirt roads and paths, dotted with villages, carefully terraced fields, and more densely populated the closer you are to the rivers, the arteries of transportation and commerce. It is magnetizing.

I think the best thing we can do to support the rebuilding, rehousing is to bring money to the country by doing business in Nepal — and visit the country. I’m going to do both!

Skida’s been importing Cashmere from Nepal for over 12 years directly from family-owned Nepali factories and we will continue to do so.

Through the end of September (end of day Wednesday) Skida’s donating 15% of proceeds from the Made in Nepal Cashmere Collection to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. There are a ton of non-profits and organizations to support, but this is the most direct and effective way for dollars to go towards on-site response and rescue.

And it is purely coincidental that in a few weeks, Pat and I will be heading to Nepal to spend our honeymoon exploring road and trails from Kathmandu, Manang, and Mustang by bike. We can’t wait! ❣️

Back behind the lens for a special outing with @glad_eline in the new Evergreen print for @skidagram 👒👒👒 Madeline runs with ease and grace, and this little session had me buzzing! How lucky are we to play with this spectacular backdrop. It’s been a while since I took Skida photos and I forgot how much I love it.

Heading out with a buddy, a new print, and a beautiful morning in the mountains. Playing with framing, experimenting with each shot, and cooing over the soft early light… always learning.

I want to make time for more of these little adventures — a quick visual moment to accompany our grandeur catalogs and campaign storytelling with the pros.

6.13.26 • East Hardwick, Vermont • We converted a hayfield into the ultimate backdrop to celebrate our forever love and life together. With Stannard Mountain in the distance and little magic moments sprinkled throughout, we did it. 🍀 One beautiful day / great speeches / our favorite music / delicious food / a bear den / and a lot of dancing is all it took to unite our family and friends. Still beaming, floating, and energized by the love and support from our community.

We are grateful for the little weather miracle that gave us that Vermont magic between record heat and torrential rains.

Life now feels like we are crowd surfing and our feet still haven’t touched the ground. We are brimming with joy as we embark on the next chapter. 🍀 xo, Pat and Corinne

It’s all fun and games with @revelbikes since joining the family in 2020. They give a damn about design with the mission of making the most fun bikes possible: the bikes they want to ride. Capable, playful, and also fast! Even more special to see homie founder @adam.miller907 back at the helm. It’s always a fun ride with this crew and I’m so grateful for all the wild places and trails these bikes have taken me. I can’t wait to tell you about the newest one: The Ranger! by @krinster
