What a weekend with NCR Rescue (www.ncrrescue.com)!
It was great learning alongside fellow SAR volunteers from Ladysmith and North Shore. We covered a ton and picked up lots of new skills. Now we've got 5 weeks to practice before the exam. Wish us luck!
Big thanks to Sunshine Coast Search and Rescue for sending us on this course.

Having everyone home, doing their own thing but still being together. Smiling, feasting, going a little crazy, catching up, and making memories along the way. ❤️ Honestly, couldn’t ask for much more! by @kripinda

One of the best parts of parenting? Getting to celebrate moments like this. 😊 by @kripinda

Epic day canyoning in Britannia Creek with the @westcoastcanyoning crew (FX & Erickson)!

We learned some new tricks, rappelled and jumped our way down some amazing waterfalls, swam, goofed around, and somehow spent a good portion of the day walking like Gollums through a creek.

Great crew, great guides, lots of laughs, a few new skills, and just an all-around ridiculously good time. by @kripinda

Few pictures from our trip to Chatterbox falls, it was such a beautiful weather and conditions. We saw few pictrographs, had to do my own research on meaning on one i ppsted here. Correct me if this is wrong info, I found it in research papers https://harvest.usask.ca/server/api/core/bitstreams/49a84059-ed0e-478f-a347-b3bc88207081/content

Shiyánwsh (Shaman) or Spirit Guide: The upraised, open arms are a classic symbolic posture representing spiritual power, prayer, or the summoning of a helping spirit during a vision quest.

A Guardian for the Swiya: Located along a major canoe route, the figure faced the water to signal to passing travelers that they were entering the swiya (traditional lands and waters) of a specific clan.

A Supernatural Record: The deep fjords of lekw'emin (Jervis Inlet) were spiritually active places, and the painting may document a sacred encounter or a powerful dream experienced by an individual. by @kripinda

Loved my Christmas present so much - just had to wait until September to get it, but it was a busy year anyways ;)
