Experience taught me what should happen.

The more projects I’ve been part of, the less I rely on memory.
Not because people aren’t good at their jobs but because large, complex builds don’t leave room for assumption.

Clear scopes. Early coordination. Defined handoffs.
They don’t slow jobs down.
They keep them calm.

And calm jobs finish faster.

Early in my career, I thought good construction was about speed and hustle.

Turns out it’s mostly about restraint.
Slowing down before the pour.
Asking the extra question.
Fixing the small thing before it becomes the expensive thing.

The longer I do this, the more I respect the basics.
Calm jobs don’t happen by accident.
