Some pics from my solo show “An offering to God” all done and dusted now, feeling very grateful. Would like to thank everyone who came out on the night, for everyone who showed support and a big thank you to everyone who purchased a piece, you have made me feel extremely grateful for a sellout show. Another really fun white over black sleeve I am working on, looking forward to showing some more progress soon! Having a lot of fun now I have perfected my method of application, loving the challenge of different techniques and ways of approaching tattooing and heading in some really fulfilling directions, even down to the clearing of old unwanted negative energy associated with the old tattoos we are covering with the use of sage, and setting new intentions and purpose going forward with a physical act of ceremony before commencing. In this video the white is already healed for a month or so and the second layer of darker star bright tribal black is fresh, really enjoying playing with these deeper concepts and having fun with some different levels of awareness and understanding, after all, every thing in the universe is only energy, including us

I will be guest spotting at @compendium.tattoo 22nd-24th of September and Sunkee an I are looking for a tough client who wants to sit 2 days with us. You’d be in for a very unique mix of styles, I’ve been looking to make this collab for quite a while now!

For those who don’t know @kris_sunkee was the person that gave me my apprenticeship back in 2010 (Merrylands) whilst I was getting a half sleeve from him. I used to bring my portfolio to every appointment, after multiple shops an multiple attempts I got my start in this industry and for that I’m forever grateful to Kris.

He was the head tattooist at that studio and I got to work with him for 3-4 years, a man of few words when it came to “how to tattoo” but I learnt the most from him in studio just by watching his skill and application. He had his own unique style and was booked for months it was everything I was working towards for with my own career, thanks for leading the way and showing how it’s done brother.

White ink over blackout fully healed!

I’ve waited a long time to reveal this piece. You may remember the bottom outer forearm from over two and a half years ago; I’ve quietly refined my method and tested it against time. The lower outer forearm has been fully healed with no touch-ups after its second pass for over two and a half years, inside forearm for over a year and a half, and the top outer arm last session was over six months ago.

I’m ready, confident, and excited to share the result—first in person at @inkedexpo last week where I’m honored to have won Best Sleeve. This project marks a new direction for me: work that gives more meaning, helps others, and empowers clients. I want to transform tattoos people dislike or outgrow into something they love again—rebirth rather than removal. I enjoy the reverse approach of rendering light itself, not just shadows, and I find it a fun, challenging process.

Stay tuned as I will be posting another reel to describe in detail the method I used for every one who has been interested!!
