It’s hard to put into words what you meant to me. My biggest supporter, my number one fan, and just a person to vent to and tell me “welp that’s parenting.” You always stopped in the middle of the street to help someone push their flat tire (even with kids in your own car). And always helped a neighbor who needed a hand. You were just the most giving of kindness. I will be forever grateful for the man I looked up to and the dad I always got warmth by. To my best friend. From saying good bye and moving across the country, to showing me how to be a mom. The last few years have been so hard with out you near but one thing is for sure you are the bestest friend I have ever had my whole life. I wanted to tell myself happy Mother’s Day. I feel so proud and happy with who I am today. It sounds so drama saying I mourned my old self but I loved her and she is no longer me. I have grown to be more patient not only with my litto family but with myself and to give the new me grace and love. This chapter has been the most challenging thing I have ever done in my life but I am feeling incredibly grateful that I have these two blessing.
