“DREAMS” is inspired by Netflix’s “One Piece” which is filled with quotes that inspire the pursuit of dreams, emphasizing courage, freedom, and perseverance.

Luffy’s iconic line, “I’m gonna be the King of the Pirates!”, represents not just ambition but the belief in one’s potential and the refusal to accept limitations.

MY DREAM is to become a professional artist, allowing me the freedom to create full-time… and financially support myself and my son. But I’m struggling with reach, so sharing and reposting will help me find my people💚

As a suicide survivor, I understand the consequences of giving up. I might stumble and fail (A LOT😂) but I refuse to give up on my dream. Thank you all for the support. Appreciate you💚

Two years ago, I was drawing stick figures…

Hello all, I’m Kris... a computer geek, a self-taught artist, single mom, Army Veteran, and mental health advocate. I had always wanted to be an artist, a creative, but thought I lacked “natural talent,” so I refused to try due to fear of failure.

Two years ago, I was determined to teach myself to draw. I embraced failure because I realized it was the only way to learn. I started sketching anything I could and gradually, became amazed by the results. I decided to focus on graphite drawing (after much experimentation!) because it allowed me to correct all my mistakes and keep going (reducing my anxiety!).

That was then… this is the present. I’ve officially opened my Etsy shop. As a suicide survivor, I understand the consequences of giving up. I’m so proud of myself that I’m making my dream a reality and truly appreciate everyone who is on this journey with me. 💚

To everyone who dreams of being an artist (or any dream!)… it does not take talent. It takes practice… a lot of practice!! Do what makes you happy y’all! 😎
