Another brilliant @edinburghtvfest with @thetvfoundation Network - and another brilliant group of emerging storytellers thrown into the world of @bbceastenders. In just 48 hours they developed a brand new EastEnders story, storylined, pitched, wrote scenes, took notes, rewrote - and then watched their work performed live on stage by Walford legends @adamwoodyatt and @gilliantaylforth. A huge amount of creativity, collaboration and hard work crammed into two days - and an absolute joy to watch them throw themselves into it. Huge thanks to everyone at EastEnders, @bbcstudios , Edinburgh TV Festival and The Network who made it happen. Thanks to @luciecave for being the most fantastic moderator! And to our Network delegates - you smashed it. 👏 #EastEnders #EdinburghTVFestival #TheNetwork #TVDrama by @krisgreen65

Looking back at our time at the @edinburghtvfest - what an amazing experience we had with @michelledcollins @colinrsalmon and this year's @thetvfoundation delegates! Our @bbceastenders workshop led by @laceykate7 @kyrizindilis and @soph_saczak gave participants a peek behind the curtain of the script and process of the nation's much-loved soap. Check out the highlights reel below! #eastenders #storytelling #edinburgh #edinburghtvfestival by @krisgreen65
What. A. Day. The @bbceastenders live read at the @edinburghtvfest with @thetvfoundation Network 2025 cohort was incredible. A brand new, unseen story from the show expertly brought to life by Walford legends @michelledcollins and @colinrsalmon live on stage havibg had only 90 minutes to prepare. Absolute pros. And what an amazing cohort of creative storytellers who crafted a story with hooks, suspense and loads of drama. #soap #eastenders #edinburghtvfestival by @krisgreen65

Happy 40th Birthday EastEnders! 🎂🥳 The Team at Elstree are the hardest working in the industry and I'm so proud and honoured to have shared the last 15 years with the most amazing off-screen faaaaamily. Thank you EastEnders - and here's to the next 40 🥰 #ObligatoryPic #EastEnders #EastEnders40 by @krisgreen65
Honoured and proud to have produced tonight’s episode of @bbceastenders, working alongside Walford maestro @chris_clenshaw, Series Producer @sharonjbatten, Director @jamieannett1 and Script Editor @jackdeslandes. @ext.jamespayne delivered a heartbreaking and ambitious script which focused on the decline of Phil’s mental health in a way that just leapt off the page. Every department excelled, from costume to makeup and design, together with the most amazing guest cast @jaimewinstone @ddelaney44 @teddypeterjay @gmrusso1 @iamlailamurphy @sammilesacts and, of course, the incredible force that is Steve McFadden - one of the only actors on telly who can convincingly and believably tell a story in an empty room. Tune in at 7.30pm on BBC One - or check it out on iPlayer right now. by @krisgreen65
