फिर आते क्यों यहाँ करने आँखों में हो बारिश
अब आए तो ठहर जाओ ना 🥹❤️‍🩹
a song that is written & sung so beautifully by @anuvjain ; it never fails to resonate in times like ours 🫶🏼

honestly I’ve always had a mental block that I don’t sing Hindi songs well, so putting this out there has me a bit nervous 🧿🤍 but this is me working on it so yayyy 🥳

My 1st Pro Race ❤️

A great learning experience and so so much fun ⚡️

After recovering from 5 simultaneous injuries last year and having hardly any track time I didn’t know what to expect from this one 😬

My performance through the weekend was better than expected with me being in podium contention & building my race craft 🥳

Race 1: P5 -> P4 -> P5
Made an overtake on the start and defended against a faster driver. Lost the place due to an error on a blue flag

Race 2: P2 -> P6
Good pace through the start and defended against a close pack behind. Dropped to last because of an unrelated incident 2 karts behind which lead to me getting hit & my kart getting mounted mid race. Still drove on to complete the race!

Race 3: P6 -> P5 -> P6
Made up a place and lost it to worn tyres which was a trade off for more practice on track

Thanks to my dad @mohnish_bahl for always actively being there for me (without whom I wouldn’t have ever realised my love for Motorsport), my mum @aarti.bahl and sister @pranutan for always encouraging and supporting me
Big thanks to @ojas_surve for the training and immense help, literally helping me find pace just a few days before the race and @sauravbandyopadhyay,
@20adityapawar and for their guidance and encouragement and @rayomandbanajee for his words of advice and appreciation post the race :)
Thanks to all the mechanics who kept all our karts in good shape and fixed the rose joints I broke way too many times 🙈
and our marshalls and race officials for
always keeping us safe and fair

Onto the next ⏭️

September has been a really heavy month. It’s had highs, but the lows have far outweighed them. I’m not the most religious person but it’s genuinely been gratitude & faith in God to never do anything that’s wrong for me, that’s kept me strong through it all 🦚🧡🌺
