I’m not someone who writes long captions. As Susu always says, I don’t even read other people’s long captions 😌
But somehow, I felt like writing one this time

Final year was never easy. It was all about breaking down, questioning my career choice, and somehow finding a way to keep going
Initially it was ok “There was stress, of course but somehow we managed. The people around me made even the stressful days feel lighter and easier to get through”

And then came the 7 months of exams.
Seven months that slowly drained every single one of us. We started walking around like zombies — barely sleeping, barely functioning, just surviving one day at a time.
The girl who used to feel sleepy by 10 could barely fall asleep even after 1 a.m
wanted to eat healthy, but stress eating and gaining weight seemed to be happening at the other corner and honestly I couldn’t help it 🥲
There were midnight emotional breakdowns, waking up from panic filled dreams with tears in my eyes, questioning everything and wondering how much longer I could keep going
Every single university paper felt like it killed a little part of me
Three hours of sleep → writing the exam → one hour of sleep → strong coffee → back to studying → repeat.
And somehow, through all the exhaustion, breakdowns, doubts, prayers, blessings, and all the love around me ..
Here we are.

I just want to hug my younger self - the girl who believed in herself
The journey was never easy. But she kept going
And today, I’m so grateful she did
And yes, I know this is only the first step.
There is so much more to learn, so much more to experience, and undoubtedly, a lot more to struggle through
But for today, I just want to pause and be proud of how far we’ve come
From “Can I really do this?” to “Dr Krishnendu M ”
