A lil throwback to some of the shots out of the last 10 years I consider almost perfect. From starting with the Sony A6000, to eventually investing in my dream camera- the Sony A7R5, I’ve been glued from the start. The @sonyalpha A7R5 has to be one of the most incredible pieces of technology I’ve ever held with my own two hands, and paired with the Sony Zeiss F1.8 55mm prime and the F4 24-70mm, the street becomes a playground of dynamic range and perspective perfect for letting your creative side run wild in a new environment. From speaking with wise men besides the Ganges river in Varanasi India, to 7 weeks of solo bikepacking along Iceland’s 700+ mile coastline, from backpacking trips in the Himalayas, to exploring the Michelin star food scene of Hong Kong, this camera has come with me just about everywhere. I cant wait to add more shots from my upcoming adventure to Peru to the #alphacollective! A week in Australia- Saw some birds, met some new friends, visited some old friends, learned how to mangle a leg at @beachsidejiujitsu, but also got served a slice of humble pie from my first teacher @lachlanconway_bjj, hiked some hills, chilled on some beaches, ate some FANTASTIC lobster rolls and fish n chips, and got sick on the way home. by @krisiscringle

Hong Kong round ✌🏼
Nothing like slurpin down some $20 Michelin beef brisket n noodle soup as we watch the world descend into madness. It’s so hard to hold on to hope when watching the atrocities unfolding before our very eyes… especially knowing how responsible the U.S. is for much of the bad happening around the globe at the moment; it’s heartbreaking. The next two weeks seem treacherous enough, let alone the next 2 years… thinking of this community of beautiful souls around the world that I’ve had the pleasure to meet, their families, and the friends I’ve yet to meet in places I’ve yet to travel. As much as I hate to say, looking at history this may still be the beginning of a terrifying butterfly effect. All this being said… we must stay strong, physically, mentally, and spiritually, whether we like it or not, we are all in “the fight” the fight for good, unity, solidarity. As hopeless as I feel, I hold on to hope… Hope this fight will root out the evil, bring light to darkness, and prosperity to the ones who need it most. WE are the change, we the PEOPLE are more powerful than we know, and finally, WE are waking up. Stay strong, stay informed, stay resilient, and stay frosty yall. Hell can still freeze over, we’ve been through too much to give up hope now🫶🏻

What goes up must come down- and after 9 days of biking up to the highest mountain pass I have ever set foot on at 17,769’ I was excited for the ride down. It was a beautiful two days of riding through 4 separate biomes, all the way from snow capped mountain ranges, down through high altitude desert plateaus, into the coniferous forests, and finally into the lush tropical montane forests of Pokhara. My last day was a new personal distance PR thanks to all that downhill, pushing about 70 miles in one day, although it wasn’t without strife, about half of it was the last remaining downhill, while the other half was back to dusty and bumpy roads where even with my shirt covering my face I still was spitting sand out of my mouth every other minute. As soon as I was through with that, night had approached just in time for the final climb of the trip, although it was a long 4 hours by bike light and headlamp. Making it back to Pokhara with an hour to spare before the days official end, I celebrated the closing of this 150 mile ride with a chicken tikka pizza, a good sleep, and a relaxing day on the lake before taking the night bus back to Kathmandu.

Well… the hard part is finished! A few thousand meters of climbing (that’s even more in feets) and a couple hundred kilometers distance (at least a couple miles) later, and I’m fresh off one of the hardest trials of my life so far; while I’m not in the clear yet, all of the riding left is downhill and I’m preparing to get through as much of it as I can tomorrow. It’s been 9 days on the road so far, and I’ve learned some invaluable lessons in which I’m extremely grateful for; this trip has been filled with some crazy ups and downs (literally and figuratively), but I feel so incredibly blessed to have experienced everything I have, I’ve met some absolutely beautiful souls along the way, seen so many jaw-dropping sights, and endured some pretty incredible suck. I had a blood vessel pop in my left eye the day before reaching the summit which added quite a bit of intensity to crossing Thorang-La pass (you can imagine pushing a bicycle up a mountain while someone stabs your eye with a needle for reference). However, at the end of the day, it added to the experience, and I’m grateful to have the motivations that I did to push through that incredible discomfort, all I could think of was kissing my bbgirl @rxiixo again, and how nice that hot shower was going to feel when I reached Muktinath, where I am writing to you all now.
Give me some more time to put sumn together w all the footage of this trip, by the time I reach back to Kathmandu I should have something banger for yall🙏🏻 OSS!

The first 48 hours back out here in Nepal🫶🏻
Send your prayers to the sun gods for the crew, we’re starting the 240 mile bicycle journey out of Pokhara in about 6 1/2 hours here, I should get to sleep, but wanted to show yall some of these beautiful views before we slide to the Himalayas.

Back home for a bit as I get prepared for another intense adventure. Haven’t done much except for rolling on the Jitsu mats, grinding up the $ to take my bicycle to the Himalayas, and edit photos from this last trip. I love the photography process, as tedious as it is all the way up to the printing, there’s something so calming about coming back to a picture with a good memory attached. Thankful for the people who are attached to these memories and all the others from the hundreds of pictures I haven’t posted. Somewhere in the year 2021 during the pandemic I got tired of falling asleep at my laptop struggling to finish my associates of architecture at PCC- at some point I figured the money I was spending to look at pictures of foreign buildings on a screen and writing reports could be better used to travel and see these wonders of the art in person while accruing more life experience and memories… but why does time have to go by fast? 4 years later I’ve yet to return…
However, I don’t regret my decision in the least bit; these have honestly been some of the most rewarding years of my life, I’ve attained a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, traveled to more countries than I care to count, met a wonderful lady and developed the deepest relationship I’ve ever had, and still continue to see & study more architectural masterpieces than I did in any of my classes. Architecture is fundamentally about how one chooses to live, exist, and coexist in a certain space and quite possibly the most important thing I’ve derived from studying this art form is that sometimes life’s most beautiful masterpieces take time to come to fruition.
Life isn’t about how fast you build, but the depth with which you live. I hope some day I’m able to design a place that mirrors the beauty of Kioi Seido, and become a designer in the likes of Hiroshi Naito, his use of brutalist molded concrete combined with traditional Japanese carpentry was something truly awe-inspiring to behold, and getting to see it with @rxiixo made it all that much better🫶🏻

Last stop Seoul, South Korea - Country #20
The 4 days in Seoul passed way too quickly for my liking. The amazing food scene mixed with the people that give the city it’s vibe, a people full of such good energy it seeps through the air into you. I can’t wait to be back when it’s a bit warmer this summer, so glad I put down a deposit at @ape.ink for my next tattoo so now I have HAVE to make another run. taken in Seoul, South Korea by @krisiscringle
