🏅✨ by @krissia.gl

Going into this marathon, I knew I hadn’t trained as much as I would’ve liked, but I trusted the experience I’d gained from my previous marathons and everything I’ve learned along the way.

I walked away with a new PR! Not quite the time I was hoping for, but another 26.2 miles completed, new lessons learned, and so much to be grateful for. Every marathon teaches me something different, and this one was no exception. 🥹

A special shoutout to my man @mario.garcess for being absolutely incredible throughout this entire experience. For always being by my side, supporting me, and spoiling me in that special way only he knows how. I love you so much ❤️

Until the next starting line. 🏅✨

34 looks a little different this year. 🎂🥇❤️

My first World Major, and another trip around the sun. Celebrating the woman I am, the woman I’m becoming, and all the dreams I refuse to give up on.

Chicago, you made this birthday unforgettable. ❤️‍🔥✨

26.2 miles. 4:13:23. My first World Major. On my birthday. 🥹🏅

Because sometimes the biggest victory isn’t the time on the clock. It’s discovering how much you have left in you when everything hurts.

From dreaming about running the World Majors to holding my very first Major medal. 😭❤️

One Major down. Five more dreams to chase. 🌎✨

Dear legs, I’m so sorry for what I’m about to put you through this Sunday. 🥹

But more than anything, THANK YOU.

I don’t know exactly what those 26.2 miles will bring. There will be moments of joy, moments of struggle, and probably a few tears. But I know one thing: I will give it everything I have.
