One more because this was so special and I’m still emotional about it!! Holy Sun Opera House with Voices of Radical Joy through Sorrow aka Goth Choir at @weirdonight

I (Krissy) have not performed like this since my classical recital days 14 years ago. I’m typically singing behind a drum set or bass. So this was incredibly special and possibly brave? And Salo has never played drums onstage before so that is certainly brave.

🖤🖤🖤 Love to @dynastyhandbag and @weirdonight for the glorious absurdity and your MANY gifts you share 🖤🖤🖤

Love to the CHOIR @pradoisaac @jess_basta @therachaelf @goghgoghmusic @rayger and Tany Ling for being not only untouchably talented and generous but also stylish and cool 🦇

Love to @mariahgarnett for the gorgeous video 🎞️

Love to @ponysweat for helping me move in my body and find joy in it!! 🐎

LOTS of Holy Sun Opera House news has happened in the last month. Here are a few highlights

🔪We got featured in the Wire Magazine‼️ what an honor‼️ thank you @steffimusics for the thoughtful questions and conversation. We ordered an extra copy for Gibby.

🖤 Our VINYL and CDs have arrived, pre order link in bio. Tapes are arriving any day now. And the album is available for an early listen on my iPod. What year is it??

📻 We were today’s top tune on KCRW. And were in the top 30 tracks played one week. We love radio!!

❤️‍🔥 We’re playing a record release show with babes @lia_braswell and @ponysweat ❤️‍🔥 it’s going to be a really fun night. Tickets in bio!!

✨ We’ve released three singles and the entire album is out on May 15.

🖤 @mynah.fm created the artwork and working with her was such a special experience. We are in awe of what she created.

We are so moved by the love and support around this release. We’ve been working on this album for a long time and releasing it into the world feels like a dream 🥹🖤 by @krissybarx
