Love being a strong girly💅🏻♥️ by @krissycanlift

It’s been a minute since I’ve been to the gym…but after today I was brought back mentally to why I love being there in the first place.

Before I really began hitting the gym with purpose, I’d only go as a chore. To feel sorta good about myself, who doesn’t want that right? When I started going for the right reason: my mental and physical health, lifestyle change, using my mistakes and sadness and channeling that energy into my body. That’s when my life and body really began to mold and shape into what it is today. I may have off days, hell we all do. However, you can’t let one small setback determine how you live life moving forward. Take one step at a time. Wake up. Get out of bed. Get dressed. Drive to the gym, go for a walk or whatever it may be for you. It’s one step at a time that gets you to a mile. Thanks to my friend Mark for his amazing insight today and encouraging me to not worry about the many future things I gotta worry about, but to take smaller steps towards how I can get my mindset ready for today, then tomorrow and moving forward. One little decision at a time. 💪🏻 also extra shoutout to @primalqueenera for making these steps much easier in the last few days. Creatine gummies and beef organ supplements have been a huge game changer in my mood and my body overall!!! by @krissycanlift

Stretching time. Do my fellow gym rats warm up or stretch? If so, what’s your routine?

I never used to stretch before any major workout days, or even cardio. Lately, I’ve been giving it a shot and wow. I now understand why it’s important to WARM UP! Stretching should be post workout, so I’m told. So we will se now this goes. It’s new to me you guys!!
