🥹first i wanna say thank you to Jhene for allowing me to join in on the fun. What’s Westside Whimsy without a stylist from Slauson Hills lol and a Pali Boy!!! this album is not just a reflection of the last six years, but it’s also a reflection of true strength, growth, power, love! how simple car rides can be valued higher than any diamond or gold. I remember when we got our permits lol that was our biggest freedom. We weren’t always driving to a specific destination. We were just driving around Slauson Hills 😂but those car rides meant so much to us and at 38 they still mean the same except now our tears are bigger lol because WTF 😂but this photoshoot meant so much to me because last year was what I thought was going to be one of my toughest years!!!I almost lost my mom.almost became a mom, so life was throwing so much at me that i was putting all my trust in 🙏🏼God and living each day for what it was. a gift. no plans. no schedule. just going with the flow. ✨🌊

Jhené gave me an opportunity to create with her and I love creating with her. I love a challenge and literally the night before the shoot we started picking looks and I’m like well. What about this?She’s like mmmhmmm ☺️smiling stuffing her face with something yummy lol holding Noah C.A. ( my assistant) lol I’m like OK ! so I had true freedom to do whatever and that’s cool but what meant most was the freedom to truly understand the moment, the emotions and most of all jean. this is someone that knows me better than my siblings and I know her the same so to have this opportunity not just for any album but an album to where I saw her grow in a different way on top of becoming a mom again and everything that went with that! she puts light into all of them, but this album felt like the first album. it was very deep.

I don’t know if it felt like that for anyone else, but it definitely felt like that for me and a few times I had to go outside (because I am part Pisces lol )and I cried because I’ve seen her grow and go through so much to get to this point ! so this was very special. So I hope everyone truly sits with this album not just listen to it. Sit with it & reflect 🌊enjoy it.Bump this shit until taken in Los Angeles, California by @krissynamaze_
