An absolutely beautiful pre-storm evening at @historicgreenwood, with @deathofclassical and The Met, showcasing pieces from the opera, Lincoln in the Bardo, premiering soon at the Met! (There was also a rainbow, but I completely missed it) taken in The Green-Wood Cemetery by @kristafogle

She might be a 5-year-old lady now, but she still requires some blanket nursing time every now and again...

Side note - she's purring like crazy, but she's a silent purrer, so there's no real sound in this. by @kristafogle

Meant to post yesterday - 5 years ago (July 3, 2021), we picked up these two frightened 4 month old kittens (pic 1 - sitting on top of the bathroom radiator - Pickles became Persephone and Puddles became Nyx) - now Nyx and Persephone would have real trouble fitting on the radiator at the same time (see pic 2). 😺 They are cute and funny and a bit nuts... still frightened of most things... but we love them. 🖤🐈‍⬛🖤🐈‍⬛🖤

Persephone is OBSESSED with my glasses - but only when they're on my face! She yells at me when she wants at them and I won't let her...

I usually don't let her get near them, but hey, today is our paperwork anniversary! Five years ago today is the official adoption anniversary for Nyx & Persephone - though we couldn't pick them up until July 3rd. So... who cares about a little slobber on the glasses? 😹 by @kristafogle
