Though we had a mostly cloudy night, the boys & I had a really unforgettable experience at the Observatory, Botanical Gardens. The Astronomical Society of Victoria’s guides are passionate about the history and the cosmos. We saw the moon towards the end, and we will be back in 6 months when we will be able to see planets in the sky, as most of them are on the other side of the Sun at the moment.

Xi’an has a 3,000 year old history, & home to the Terracotta Army, which has always been on my bucket list. The area is huge, & obviously Archaeologists are still digging, and repairing what is found. Unbelievable. We also rode bikes on the Xi’an City Wall, still preserved from the Ming Dynasty, and walked around the Muslim Quarter & visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We saw a lot of females in particular, dress up in Hanfu (traditional Chinese Clothing) & it has become a major trend to experience the city’s imperial past.
So happy we got to experience Xi’an.

Last night was a really cool event of 30 Years of Bromley, FRM and PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival. I was lucky enough to be part of this special evening, with 2 portraits of me from fabulous David Bromley @bromleyandco I forgot last night to really thank Steve @frmmodels (time was limited), for giving me my start over 30 years ago as model. I was a rough diamond, & Steve saw the possibilities. It takes only 1 person to give you a chance, and I will be always grateful for Steve believing in me. He has a really good eye for talent & many have succeeded because of him. So thank-you again Steve! @stevebucknal 🙏 And congrats on 30 years. 🕺

China. I had a few mixed feelings before we landed, but I ended up loving everywhere we travelled, & would definitely go back. First stop was Beijing, and visited The Great Wall, the Mutianyu section. It’s known for its scenic forested surroundings and you can taboggan down, which we all did. So much fun! Also travelled to the Forbidden City, incredibly beautiful, and huge area. Tiananmen Square was quite surreal being there, & glad we got a chance to visit. Next Xi’an.

Beautiful Kyoto, my favorite place in Japan, even with the crowds! My family & I were here for 3 days over NYE, & as usual we did not sit around. 😂
Making Matcha at the Tea Ceremony was definitely worth it, and surprising the boys with costumes was hilarious, all of us really enjoyed the experience. Loved hiking the famous Torii gates (1 thousand) of Fushimi Inari, also walking the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest & Monkey park overlooking Kyoto. Gion & Pontocho area for restaurants & bars was alot of fun. And another thing I personally enjoyed was walking the Philosophers Path which runs along a canal in a rural neighborhood for 2km.
