One last bump post before we meet our girl 🥹🤍

As you’re reading this, we are at the hospital in the middle of my induction, which feels so crazy to even say.

It’s definitely bittersweet knowing this is the end of pregnancy, but I am SO ready to finally see her little face and have her in our arms. 🤗

40 weeks with my girl 🥹🎀

I really thought she would be here by now, but Skylar is apparently very comfy in there 😂

So glad I got these sweet photos taken by @chloestilingphoto at the @themomwalkco.gastonia because I know I’m going to miss this belly so much!!

Only 9 weeks late posting these 😂💕

We took our maternity photos at 31 weeks, and somehow today I officially hit 40 weeks pregnant. I kept thinking I had plenty of time to post them… and now we’re at the point where she could literally decide to make her appearance at any moment. 🥹

Looking at these now feels extra special because this really was the season of waiting for her. Watching my belly grow, getting her nursery ready, picking out all of her tiny things, and slowly realizing that our lives were getting closer and closer to changing forever.

And of course, our first girl Meeka has been right there through all of it. 🐾 She’s watched the nursery come together, followed me around through this whole pregnancy, and has absolutely no idea how much her world is about to change too. I can’t wait to see her meet her baby sister for the first time.

Now everything is ready. Her clothes are washed, the bags are packed, the nursery is waiting, and every day feels like it could be the day.

This pregnancy has somehow felt both so long and so fast and I’m really thankful we have these photos to remember what this chapter looked like before we finally became a family of four.

Skylar, we are so ready to meet you. 🌷

A little wildflower is on her way 🌸🌼🎀

Still not over how beautiful our baby shower was celebrating our sweet girl, Skylar. 💕 Every little detail came together so perfectly, and seeing everything we dreamed up for this day come to life made it even more special.

We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who came to celebrate our growing family, especially those who traveled from out of state to be there with us. 🥹 It meant more than you know to have so many of our favorite people all together celebrating our little girl.

And now here we are at 36 weeks and officially in the final countdown until we get to meet our little wildflower. 🌷 We are SO ready for you, Skylar girl!

Looking through these pictures and seeing just how many people showed up to celebrate our growing family makes my heart so full. There is something so special about knowing that Skylar is already surrounded by so much love before she’s even here. 🎀

Thank you to every single person who celebrated with us, traveled to be there, showered our girl with love, and made this day one we’ll never forget. We seriously have the best people in our lives. 🥹💕

Just a few more weeks until the little girl everyone came together to celebrate is finally in our arms. 🌷 We can’t wait for you to meet her!

From blank walls to a blooming little girl’s nursery 🌸🪻🌻

The biggest thank you to my amazing friend, @saravhinson for pouring so much love, time, and talent into creating the sweetest space for Baby Skylar. This was her baby shower gift to us, and it’s something we’ll cherish every single day. 💕
