On Juneteenth my forever big sis walked through the big door in the sky. I asked my girls to walk her home. ❤️

I’ve had a hard time really talking about it, posting about it. Eb wasn’t even on social, cause she’s smarter than the rest of us. 😂 But I’ve been feeling lately like I have to mark the time somehow, or I’m going to get stuck. I feel like time is dragging me. Grief is wild. Just when I think I know how to live with it, how I live with it, it knocks me over again, in a new way this time. Even when I am feeling happy or social, if I feel for it, the little cloud is there.

Eb was an irreplaceable light. And she had an irreplaceable laugh! It’s mean that the person I want to talk to the most about missing her so much, the person who would make just the right little joke about it, is Eb.

When the moon is especially bright, or when I’m sitting by the river, there she is. I stood at the top of a huge waterfall this summer, and I swear Eb was there. I’m getting used to talking to her the other way.

I miss you Ebony. I wish you could’ve stayed a little longer. But in our too-small window of time you taught me how to live. You taught me the kind of big sister I want to be.

Corner store forever. I’m sorry this song is all wrong but if you were here I would make an extremely dumb joke about Johann’s last name, and at least that’s something. 🤷🏽‍♀️❤️ by @kristinyancy

What a CAST of absolute GIANTS holy wow. Didn’t take nearly enough pics because I was having FUN but here are just a few of their beautiful mugs, plus my second show 🎉 with LOVES @katiemgriffith and @demariusr_copes and @phillipasoo @stevepasquale @raedratch and I’d watch a whole show of #Boy and #Girl @dsteinface @andrewkober I miss our blind mice and Andrea Martin is a national treasure and someone please convince @rosslekites to stay in the biz forever and to my dressing room bbs thank you for the Macarena.

Forever forever grateful to the irreplaceable @mayte_n . Every time we do this I learn SO MUCH from your generosity, flexibility, humor, and good instincts. I love you and I love making stuff with you.
