(SWIPE LEFT)…Me and THEE bestie (yall remember her leading worship at the Bishop’s Conference?? :) ), finally celebrating my birthday 6 weeks late, lol! We have very busy lives, but we make time…50 years of friendship! Many memories, good and bad behind these smiles. So grateful to have had her as my best friend through it all. She made me cry tonight. She reminded me of the times she would tell me who was authentic and who was unauthentic (is that a word?) around me; the times I didn’t listen and came back crying. She said “I never wanted to say I I told you so, I wasn’t being mean, but I wasn’t concerned about your feelings at the moment, I was concerned about your future and the risks of having the wrong people in it…” I cried and said, “Thank you Best…that’s why you are the best…” I couldn’t have made it this far without Krissy and my sister…@kristnamac #MyBestieIsBetterThanYerzzz by @kristnamac

Happy birthday to the bestie!! 🥳💕 We’ve literally been friends through every significant life event since we were kids…first cars and apartments, new homes, marriages, kids, new careers, major blessings 🙌🏽 and difficult seasons.

We’ve laughed, argued, shopped, fussed, eaten together, prayed, cried and hung out doing absolutely nothing 😂…basically, we’ve done life together…and it’s been full! ❤️

Sometimes self-care is simply taking a trip to get your hair done. 💇🏽‍♀️✨

And listen…the stylist matters! 🤌🏽 The salon atmosphere matters. The conversation matters. The whole experience matters!

Tee and I have been rockin together for 4 years now 🥰, and she just celebrated her 4th birthday!! 🎉💕

Life has definitely been different since she joined our family. She has such a warm personality for a 4 year old! Being her Mimi has been a blessing….the joy, the laughs, the sweet moments…and yes, even the little tears. 🥹❤️

I’m so thankful that I was able to stay home with Tee when she was a baby. My mom did the same for my kids, which makes that time even more special to me. I only wish she could have been here to meet Tee. I know she would have loved her so much. ❤️

And I’m so proud of my daughter for being such an amazing mom. 😮‍💨

Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, memories, and Mimi & Tee adventures! 🥰

And just like that… Blake is 18!!!! 😩💙

My last baby, the calmest and most laid-back of them all. This moment is bittersweet…so proud to see him step into young manhood, yet as a mom, I’m always mindful that this world is crazzzyyy….especially for our young black men. So I cover him in prayer, always. 🙏🏽❤️

He is deeply loved, and I’m excited to watch his journey continue to unfold.
