I’ve been asked several times (at speaking engagements like @altsummit or just on the phone with friends) “How do I get on TV?” 🌟The answer of course depends on what’s your agenda (EX: are you an actor, pitching your business or do you want to discuss a particular idea on a political forum) AND “what type of tv” (EX: is it a local show, national show, unscripted, or scripted?).🌟It’s funny no matter how many platforms come out or ways to view content, people still love to “be on TV” for an endless list of reasons.❤️Today it was on my heart (ha) to share how to get on locally (like local and/or community tv/PBS station) if you want to discuss your business, event, product, organization, and/or idea. 🌟First and foremost, research who books the show (is it a booker…is it the producers…reporters…executive producer) and study the program that you want to be on. Make sure that you pitch something they like to cover anyway, be strategic with whom you pitch, and have a media kit (with certain key items) ready to go. There’s more to it, but wrap your mind around this first. 🌟I've been thinking that I should start discussing these topics, along with Ralph, on our new Patreon page. It has been so much fun to write the love stories and create the style for each character. Ralph and I have produced music for the episodes, too.
