Between raising two little ones, preparing for an international move, packing up our lives, and running a business, life has been A LOT lately. 😂

And instead of forcing myself to be positive or productive through all of it, I've been doing these 5 things:

1. Letting myself cry. Sometimes I just need a good cry. No analyzing, no fixing, no judging. Just letting the tears come and giving myself permission to feel.

2. Moving my lymph every day. Gentle bouncing, stretching, and lymphatic movements. Nothing intense. Just a few minutes of movement to support circulation and reconnect with my body.

3. Making time for red light therapy. A few quiet minutes of intentional self-care. Not another task to accomplish, but a moment to slow down and tend to myself.

4. Allowing myself to say what sucks. Not everything needs an immediate positive spin. Some things are inconvenient, exhausting, or downright frustrating. Acknowledging that doesn't make me negative. It makes me honest.

5. Letting go of the pressure to do it all. I haven't been posting much, and I'm okay with that. I love posting, but I love much more being present for the life I'm creating.

✨ Something I'm reminding myself:

I can be grateful for my life AND overwhelmed by parts of it.

I can love where I'm going AND find the transition difficult.

I can have unfinished things AND feel fulfilled right now.

Peace isn't the absence of life's messiness. It's the ability to make room for all of it.

What have you been doing lately to take care of yourself? 🧡 by @kriz_nau

Change can be scary. Letting go of versions of yourself that once kept you safe can be terrifying.

But it can also be freeing. Even exciting.

Giving yourself moments to actually feel safe as you let go is so underrated. You’re allowed to move slowly, to appreciate who you’ve been, and to feel excited about who you’re becoming. by @kriz_nau

Maybe you’re not addicted to the noise.

Maybe the noise has just become really good at keeping you from hearing yourself.

The scrolling.
The TV in the background.
The constant doing.
The need to fill every quiet moment.

Because when everything gets still… feelings rise. Thoughts get louder. Things you’ve been outrunning finally have space to be felt.

But silence isn’t the enemy.

Sometimes it’s the doorway back to yourself.

Tap with me and teach your nervous system that it’s safe to be still. 🤍

Save this for the next time quiet feels a little too loud. by @kriz_nau

Stop waiting to understand yourself perfectly before you start changing your life. by @kriz_nau

Save it for relief from comparison.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Not because you shouldn’t want more.

But because it can make you forget how much you already have.

You can be genuinely happy with your life… until you see someone else’s.

Suddenly your progress feels slow. Your wins feel small. Your body isn’t enough. Your business isn’t growing fast enough. Your relationship doesn’t look exciting enough. You’re somehow “behind” in a race you weren’t even running five minutes ago.

That’s the trap.

Their life didn’t make yours less beautiful. You just stopped looking at yours. 🤍

So tap with me and come back home.

Back to your timeline. Back to your progress. Back to what’s already blooming here.

Because you can admire what’s growing in someone else’s garden without questioning what’s growing in yours. 🌱 by @kriz_nau

I’ve been thinking about the opposite of “death by a thousand cuts.”

Growth by a thousand efforts.

All the little things you tried.
The things you learned for three weeks.
The workout you did for a few months.
The way of eating that helped you during one season.
The random rabbit hole that taught you something you still carry years later.

Perfectionism can make us look back at everything we didn’t “stick with” and see inconsistency.

But what if it all counted?

What if consistency doesn’t always mean doing the same thing forever?

Maybe the method changes, but you keep returning to your body.
The food changes, but you keep returning to nourishment.
The practice changes, but you keep returning to yourself.
Your interests change, but you keep returning to curiosity.

That is consistency too.

And maybe some of us were never meant to know one thing deeply and only one thing.

Maybe we’re gatherers. Connectors. Integrators.

We collect pieces from everywhere we’ve been and everything we’ve explored, and somehow they become part of who we are—and part of what we give back.

I wrote more about this (and how motherhood finally started freeing me from the pressure to do everything perfectly) in my newest Substack:

Growth by a Thousand Efforts.
