That’s a WRAP! After 6+ years shooting for @regioncanberra @this.is.canberra I say a reluctant goodbye 🥹 It’s been an opportunity that has connected me with Canberra, the community and all the great things this place has to offer. It’s not all PS BS! The local wine, food, small businesses are the best. The people are genuinely kind and supportive. Whilst I have been encouraged to move north, it’s been a tough call.

So tough, I couldn’t leave ❤️ You’ll now find me at ADFA wearing a UNSW polo. Feel I’ve come full circle, given I started my career 35yrs ago as a RAAF photographer and now I’m back on a military base.

I wanted to post some photos from my time at @regioncanberra that I was particularly proud of. Honestly there were too many as there were so many great moments I’ve been privileged to capture. But, here’s a few. Thanks for the support! ❤️🥰❤️

Two years ago I was looking for some company, like an old dog who needed a new home. Then I met @shuri_princess_of_barkanda. When we were first introduced she ran up to me, jumped up to lick me and excitement pee’d all over my jeans 😆

She had only been at the animal rescue sanctuary for a few months, but what I’ve learned, that was a few months too long for her. She is so friendly, affectionate and the happiest dog I have ever met. She constantly has a goofy smile, loves life, dogs and people. My work mates have welcomed her into the office and disapprove when I take her home because she makes too much noise (she barks with excitement and wants to play all day!).

If you are on the fence about adopting a dog, I can’t encourage you enough. Shuri has brought routine and joy to my life in a way I never imagined. Happy 2 year anniversary princess!

ANZAC Day is a reflection of many things for me. Firstly, my time as a photographer in the RAAF. Also my dad, mum, grandad and other relatives and colleages, friends before me. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given to represent Australia. Lest we forget.
