While I was away chasing dreams, walking into new opportunities, and living some incredible adventures… someone may have quietly turned 45.

And this birthday feels different.

When I look back over these 45 years, I see a life that looks very different from the one I once imagined for myself. There were prayers answered in ways I didn’t understand, doors that closed when I desperately wanted them to stay open, seasons that broke me, seasons that rebuilt me, and moments when God carried me when I didn’t have the strength to carry myself.

My story didn’t unfold according to my plans.

But thank God it didn’t.

Because somewhere along the way, I learned that His plans were bigger, deeper, and more beautiful than anything I could have written on my own.

I’ve walked through heartbreak and healing. Loss and restoration. Fear and faith. I’ve learned to let go, to trust God in the unknown, and to believe that even the hardest chapters can become part of a beautiful testimony.

So here’s to 45.

To living fully.
To loving deeply.
To protecting my peace.
To choosing gratitude.
To trusting God with what comes next.

I’m no longer asking for the life I thought I was supposed to have. I’m thanking God for the life He has given me and stepping boldly into the woman He is still calling me to become.

My heart is full. My faith is stronger. My spirit is grateful.

And I truly believe the most beautiful days are still ahead.
