Wow what a blast! Can't believe I got to play on the stunning HALO stage by @lucidcreates___ with @teedee_uk at this year's Creamfield festival. So much fun and such a great crowd. .. was a bit nerve racking turning up and hoping everything would just work but everyone was super helpful and made the show a breeze. Thanks to Chris and Omar for getting me involved! Full set up on @beatport by @kromavision

Our next selection "Crystallisation". An experimental film, a fusion of jazz and visuals informed by science, created by the Spanish-Russian-British collective @pablosonnaillon, Venya Krutikov and Dr Hamish Yeung.

Programme director @picturesofbernadette notes:
A beautiful blend of evolving generative visuals with jazz score to reflect the process of transformation and environmental renewal, a perfect fit for our woodland festival.

Film summary: This exploration of jazz & generative image collaboration was informed by Dr Hamish Yeung’s research on the crystallisation of metal organic frameworks. One of the aims of Yeung’s research is that of helping carbon capture to reduce polluting emissions.

Krutikov’s visuals change states from gas to liquid to solid. See how the colour scheme evolution reflects on Yeung’s intentions of environment purification. Hear how Sonnaillon’s music goes through a nonlinear process of cooling down throughout the piece.

A little behind the scenes for an idea I have been meaning to build for ages ! Admittedly, I totally underestimated how long it would take to 3D print all these parts( words cannot describe how much I love my Bambu ) .. getting there slowly. But I think will be worth it in the end.

Plan is to make 4 in total of these custom curved video wall sculptures for the Tele Sync launch event @kapsule_club on the 26 March. Can't wait to use them for a live ab show with @thoseholy and @miamaiiiiii .. we are doing a special show in the round using @sunpalacesoundsystem beautiful handmade pa and for the first time ever will also be using @sona.lux amazing spatialiser. A unique piece of hardware that allows artists to implement a real-time spatial audio without the need for any software.

Extra special thank you to the kind folk @drawandcode and Jonny over at @tordesignfabrication for helping out with the printing.. and Pat for taking my doodles and transforming them in to a printable file 🙏🏻

The past few weeks have been incredibly exciting watching the creation of Tele Sync.

We’re really looking forward to people interacting with the Tele Sync portals for the first time, finding out what you the public think and understanding more about how they can be utilised to support and positively impact the grassroots music sector.

From drawing these up to getting them CNC'd ( shout out to @mulberry_workshop !) and assembling them all.. quite a few steps in the mix ...so I thought it would be fun to do a little time lapse.

Luckily have plenty of space at @invisiblewindfactory to make a mess and get these units all built and ready to be sent out . They will appear at various locations throughout Liverpool for this pilot stage and then.. who knows ! Would be ace to see them popping up all over the place.

Trying out some of the interactions we have been building for the Tele Sync portals. Channeling some early video feedback vibes with beautiful delays..

Each portal runs on #touchdesigner with the super powerful #mediapipe library, allowing us to do really fun image segmentation, motion tracking and background removal.. turning a simple webcam in to a really advanced pair of eyes !

Been super busy last few months developing and building this really fun project that we get to launch on the 26th of March @kapsule_club .. comprising of a series of AV portals that we will deploy across the city.. these will act as wormholes connecting grassroots venues in to a city wide network.

The portals have different modes of interaction, from showing upcoming gigs -> to single user experiences -> multi player mode -> broadcasting live shows. It's just a pilot programme for now to see how it all works.. it's been a pretty crazy amount of work, but super happy with how they look and work.. not great at sharing work in progress.. but will do my best !

A few snaps from the making of Face Value over the past 3 months at th @invisiblewindfactory workshop.. Our @leonardo_alvarez_pinel hard at work on the assembly ! We couldn't build it all at once, so ended up doing it in sections and finally got to see it all come together last week at Mann Island atrium for River of Light 2025 .
