Wow... I can't believe that it is already one year ago when I asked You if You want to spent the rest of Your life (hopefully) with me.🥹
Never could I have guessed what an impact You would have on my life and how much better everything has been since then.

With the booking of our latest trip to Iceland, I really wished to be able to see the northern lights somehow... And after a few evenings with absolutely no success, out of nowhere, a friendly guy we met that evening at the camping ground stormed in to tell us that there are northern lights outside!!!

We immediately shut down all our lights and went outside to witness on of the greatest experiences in my lifetime so far.
To see the universe do things like this is truly special and I am so glad that I got the opportunity for this!

I still don't really know, how those Iceblocks are formed but it is truly amazing, seeing them in person, right in front of your eyes.
We got super lucky with the weather as well since it was one of just a few days where the sun decided to show itself.

„This is your captain speaking…“

It was kind of surreal to see a plane wreck in the middle of nowhere just surrounded by black sand and fog. An experience I would recommend everyone that is planning a trip to Iceland!🇮🇸✨

But one big advice: It’s not a particularly good idea to switch from your hiking boots to sneakers in hope for the weather to stay good for a while. Icelandic weather can’t be predicted!!! My friend and travelbuddy @kreutz_03 had some issues after that decision he made.😂

This Trip was pretty much the best I‘ve done so far in my life. Iceland is so much more than just an island, it’s a place you don’t want to leave when you visit it the first time.

No matter what time of the year, no matter how the weather turns out… it’s always sooo freaking gorgeous.
Of course it’s even better if you have a good friend like @kreutz_03 with you that you can share your feelings with.

If you haven’t, I dare you to visit Iceland at some point in your life. You won’t regret it!!!
