Happy 16th Bday to Nini, I don’t know what I did do be lucky enough to be her Father… but seeing my little girl become an incredible young woman has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I thank God for choosing me to be her Daddy.

He woke up and said, “Dad, it’s my Bday… I have to shower!” 😆
His first picture as a 10yr old, what a difference a decade makes! There is nothing quite as wonderfully terrifying as watching your children grow up. by @krsryn

The #StreetFighterMovie is awesome, childhood memories unlocked! It was fun—the game references and the 80s-90s vibe was great to see. Andrew Koji is the perfect Ryu. 9/10… go see it! by @krsryn

I took the kiddos to watch forgotten Island tonight. After watching it, I have to say, I felt so much pride, humility, joy and gratitude to see my language and culture on full display on the big screen here in the US… and not just some hint of it, but throughout the movie.
A lot of thought and love went into this film, and it was a very good movie—no forced narratives, just a great story that people can relate to.
It brings me so much happiness that in my lifetime I witnessed this. I wish my parents were here to see it with me, Mom would’ve loved this. We really have come a long way.
The movie took me back to childhood memories, with the Filipino parties and the Karaoke, the folklore and stories my Mom used to tell us… and even hearing Francis M’s song in one of the scenes just felt so good.
A proud moment for everyone of Filipino heritage and I’m so happy that this movie shares our culture with the world. Even better is watching it with my son and granddaughter and I can tell them how they are connected to the film. After the movie, Autumn kept repeating ‘Tayo Na’ a catchphrase used in the movie that means let’s go, hearing her say it and knowing what it meant was everything.
Anyway, go see the movie, please support it. It was made for everyone and you might be surprised how much you can relate to it as well. by @krsryn

8 years ago, was one of the greatest heartbreaks of my life. Even today, the scar still feels new. You never get used to it, but you never want to be without it, because that’s part of remembering the ones we love the most. If your mother is still in your life, call her for no reason—just to say I love you. Yes she likely already knows, but tell her anyway.

Miss na miss kita Ma… I love you.
