Jabberwocky from #mabsdrawlloweenclub2026

I was thinking of a “punk wonk” character haha.
That’s my inspo for this dude.

I think the OG character is from a Lewis Carroll story/ Through the Looking Glass. It’s also a movie by Terry Gilliam (can’t believe haven’t seen it). Also took inspo from the illustrated character and the iconic “skank kid” from the Circle Jerks, which were a punk bad from LA in the 80s.

Summer kicked my butt. I was pumped in the spring to get back to biz, so I made a bunch of stuff, got my ass to multiple markets in the PNW, and yeh, it got me. I hit a wall in July but kept overthinking and pushing, cuz that’s my go to.

It’s been a bout a year since I moved. The dust settled and the feels took over. Feels like a liminal space that I’m drifting in. I got out in nature as much as I could, even though it was hot and smoky. A dip in the creek, some paddles, hiking in the evening. And hanging out with P.

Currently, I’m in the middle of big build (KRUSTY studio) and that’s a process that’s will fk with ya enough on its own.

The arrival of Fall has brought some relief. I’ve been fooling around with some other printing techniques and airbrushing to get some analog in. Got to see my brothers. And more hiking. Also got back on my meds :::)))

Just wanted to let you know I’m still here. I’ll keep ya posted… by @krustystuff

I get an A++ in shitty airbrushing.

My hands are falling apart and am feeling less in control but I like it. Haven’t been actively creating anything but designing/ screen printing tees and kinda feeling dumbed down.

So this feels good so I’m a keep going.

DOLLY

I tried making this a finished polished piece, just like Dolly showed up every day. My current feels told me different. I’m working on getting things out there, not so perfect or maybe how I envisioned isn’t the way it’s gonna go. Like, just do the thing already. Really, just like Dolly. by @krustystuff

Big THX to @punkrockfleamarketspokane and ALL the peeps that came out to support Spokane’s 1st. It def struck a chord with everyone, like y’all are hungry for it. BTW This summer was a reboot for my biz (took some time off after I got sad af then moved). Spokane has been amazing, you’ve been super welcoming. Srsly, be stoked to serve some Krusty stuff for ya, anytime🖤

I will b here. Not cuz im planning to make millions 😝but cuz the team has been working hard to make this a go and I rlly wanna be here for it. It’s Spokanes 1st pnkrck flea market. If you wanna help support this event and small biz cmon out. There’s a portion of proceeds going to help victims of the fires.
