KRVC and the entire small business community are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Michael O'Brien, a beloved Riverdale business owner for decades. He was a pure trailblazer and a true gentleman whose impact on our neighborhood will be felt for years to come.

Huge shoutout to everyone who joined us for our Narcan training in partnership with St. Vincent's! 🤝

Led by our incredible instructor Lily, this session was a massive success. Local restaurant staff and community members came together to learn life-saving skills, how to respond to an overdose, and how to properly administer Narcan.

We strongly believe that every member of our nightlife industry should be equipped and trained to save a life.

A special thank you to Home BX Steakhouse for being a consistent community partner, and to KRVC board member Norman for always taking the lead on community projects!

Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt Development Corporation (KRVC) recently hosted a productive Mosholu Ave merchant meeting!

A big thank you to Bronx Burger House for hosting us. We brought together local business owners and members of the NYPD to discuss current community concerns and collaborate on ways to make Mosholu Ave an even safer, more vibrant corridor for everyone.

We were also joined by representatives from Councilmember Eric Dinowitz’s office, and we want to extend a special thank you to The Riverdale Press for stopping by to cover the discussion.

🍁 Our Fall Foliage Vase class was an absolute hit!

Look at all the stunning vases created by our wonderful community members and friends. We are continually blown away by your creativity.

A massive shout-out to instructor Cathy, who completely knocked it out of the park with this workshop! Because it was such a success, we’ll definitely be bringing Cathy back for more workshops soon.

We truly believe that our community craves a welcoming creative space to connect and make art—and as always, our events are 100% free!
