There’s something special about autumn in the Lake District. 🍂

The trees bursting with colour, the boats resting on the water and the fells providing the perfect backdrop. Derwentwater really is something else at this time of year. 🤎🍁

If you could spend an autumn afternoon anywhere in the Lake District, where would you choose?

A little throwback to a golden evening at Derwentwater in Keswick. 🌅🍂 With today’s stormy weather, I wouldn’t mind seeing skies like this again! by @krwhytephotography

Golden hour views over the Howgill Fells 🌅✨
Nothing beats taking a pitstop at Tebay Services and looking out over these smooth, rolling hills across the Lune Valley. Unlike the craggy peaks of the Lake District to the west, the Howgills are famous for their soft, velvet-green curves—often described as looking like sleeping elephants. 🐘

🍂 Ennerdale Water, last autumn 🍂

One of those autumn mornings in the Lake District that makes you stop and take it all in. 🍁 The calm water, changing colours and mist hanging over the fells made this one of my favourite shots from last year.

Already looking forward to seeing the Lakes dressed in autumn again. 🤎

The Jaws of Borrowdale 🏔️✨

There’s something about Derwentwater that never gets old.
Golden light spilling across the water, mist settling over the fells, and the dramatic peaks of Borrowdale rising beyond.

One of those Lake District moments that feels almost like a painting. 💛
