New Hawes-Dressler Drop! Our family welcomed Rosalie (Rosie) Frost Hawes-Dressler in the early morning hours on February 8 after a very quick labor during one of the coldest evenings in years. She is such a calm spirit and brings so much joy to our family already. It’s as if she’s always been here. Also a very fun surprise for Olive and Max who went to sleep and woke up to a baby sister in their house. Welcome Rosie. We love you so much! by @kryspistal

I haven’t played guitar in years. Maybe since Olive was born? Could be longer. This guitar is dusty. I am rusty. I am sneaking this in while Max naps. I haven’t done this is so long but I needed to play this song. Music is what makes ME feel like me. Also, I am a millennial so this is landscape, not portrait. Whoops. by @kryspistal

Maxwell Jackie Hawes-Dressler entered the world and our family on April 19, 2023 at 9:07am weighing 9lbs 4oz and 22”.
He was born in our home after a short labor with the help of my wonderful midwife @shawnakking , doula @metoodoula , and fantastic partner @jonathan_dressler. It was intense but incredibly empowering and I have felt like a fucking badass since. Women are magic. The past 4 weeks have been a blur. Jon has been an absolute saint letting me rest up while he runs the show. These photos aren’t perfect but Max is. He is a happy, smiling easy going kid who wants to cuddle and take in the world around him (when he isn’t sleeping). He is watched over by his fantastic big sister Olive who has taken this transition in stride showing so much love and pride in her little brother. My first mothers day as a mom of 2 was really special. Welcome to the world Max. We’re so glad you’re finally here. by @kryspistal

It's Black Breastfeeding Week and let me tell you, this breastfeeding thing is one of the HARDEST things I've ever done. Harder than pregnancy, 3 days of labor, birth and even parenting. To breastfeed as a Black American is an act of resistance. I am feeding MY child and no one elses. I worked hard to develop this bond with my daughter. I will support her in doing the same if and when the time comes. And I will breastfeed literally anywhere. #unbothered #blackbreastfeedingweek by @kryspistal

From the moment we found out you were coming you changed our lives. The day that you came into this world, you took away all of the fear of this crazy year and there was just YOU. The Hawes-Dressler Production House is pleased to announce the addition of our newest member. Meet Olive Carole Hawes-Dressler. Born July 15th, 2020 7lbs 14oz. She is proficient in sleeping, eating, and moving her bowels. We are working on her editing skills. by @kryspistal

No one besides my mom touched my hair until I was in high school. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen at the sink or sat by the stove as she went to work making my mess of hair into neat and tidy braids or curls (for special ocassions). On my wedding day, I did my own hair and had the opportunity to sit my mom down and play the role of hair dresser. No tops of ears or backs of necks were burned in the making of this photo or this moment. Ps. My mom is pretttyyy. by @kryspistal
