I made this Westbourne (Isabel Kraemer) last year and hadn't worn it until today. Sitting knitting a new version (explanation later) and see right center front I increased a stitch....for no reason. #eventeachersmakemistakes #westbournesweater #sandnesgarnsunday #nevernotknitting #knittingismymeditation taken in Summerland, British Columbia by @ksaknits

Happy Thanksgiving Canada. We have so much to be thankful for. I'm thankful for friends and family. I'm thankful for finding my love of knitting and the opportunities it has brought me. I'm thankful for the love and support of all my knitting community (plus those closest to me that don't knit but put up with my incessant talking about it).
I hope everyone can take a moment today/tomorrow to reflect on what we are truly thankful for.
For my American and worldwide friends: Canadian Thanksgiving is on Monday; however we often celebrate on Sunday to allow for travel the next day after the tryptophan naps on Sunday. by @ksaknits

Yesterday's progress...and today looks similar. Alpine Bloom Toque is off the charts with Autumn vibes. It's ready for the next class. Bea Blouse has 20 more rows and is looking like the perfect Holiday sweater. The Egghead Sock @foxandfleece just needs 2 inches of foot then a toe before doing that forethought heel. #autumnstuffynose #knittingclasses #knittingismymeditation #testknit #colourworkknitting by @ksaknits

Keeping my options open will I see if my sore throat/stuffy nose is my son's cold or a fibro flare 🤷
Patterns of the day are: Egghead Sock (test knit for @foxandfleece), Bea Blouse and Alpine Bloom Toque for my classes.

😭😭😭😭 The silver lining is that I can make it exactly as it was but better fitting. I love my craft. I love Italian bind off....I don't live unpicking Italian bind off.

Fibre art related. My Mother in law passed away 4 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. Her quilting skills were incredible and we are so lucky to have so many pieces to help keep her memory alive. These are the very last two pieces that were unfinished by her. taken in Summerland, British Columbia by @ksaknits
