The New England girls trip finally made it out of the group chat.🌊🦪🇺🇸🦞🤍

We ate our weight in lobster rolls and oysters, lost count of lighthouses somewhere along Route 1, listened to “Maine” by Noah Kahan more times than I will admit, checked off another National Park (Acadia), fell in love with Nantucket, and soaked up the history—especially in Boston, Plymouth, and Salem. It’s safe to say these West Coast girls are big fans of East Coast summers.

WE LOVE A PROPER @divacup_surf BANGER 🔥🔥🔥
Absolute highlight of my life to have the unstoppable @femme_futures_ team join me on stage to dance, celebrate and finally harvest the fruits of so many months of hard work🫶🏽

Events are no easy feat, and the @divacup_surf is a special kind of beast⚡️Throwing a sporting event with professional athletes and running a compliant, impactful and young nonprofit are massive elements our team poured so much into. Producing a *proper* party with stellar talent, top tier audio production and state of the art lighting is something we rarely get to experience on the Central Coast beaches. ALL OF IT AT ONCE?!?! Felt like a dream.

What I am trying to say is➡️ These ladies work SO dang hard and fly so humbly under the radar. I’m beyond proud of the dedication, skill and grit this crew brings. IT IS A LOT! Juggling all of these elements across multiple venues in one day is truly incredible🥹 DIVAS, cheers to YOU! None of this would be possible without the hard work of so many incredible individuals, our founding board members @salty_sie @joloswag69 AND of course…our community large. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart for lighting this revolution on fire and fanning the flame! Yewwwwwww!

In memory of my beloved husband, Michael Handy. One year ago tomorrow, the world as I knew it ended. Since that day I’ve lived in a strange a quiet punishment of survival, watching the world keep spinning without him and us. I am here, but emptied, a shell of the person I was when he was beside me.
I wear my longing openly, like a wound that will not close.
The wanting I feel is unbearable, a yearning older than language, something felt in the bones, something that pulls inward with the force of a black hole swallowing everything around it.
I called him Soulfire, and I was his Starshine. We were two lights caught in the same orbit until our universe collapsed inward, leaving behind dark and silence. A still, endless quiet where even sound forgets how to travel and all that remains is the void.
From the moment we met at sunrise on the playa at Burning Man in 2014, the spark was undeniable. He saw the light in my eyes, and the glow of his being swept over me.
We were 23, and from that fateful morning until our goodbye at 33, we were growing, building, dreaming, laying the roots of a life together.
For ten years and three months we built a love full of depth, grit, and devotion. We were each other’s chosen family. The world we created and nurtured together remains the safest place inside myself today.
There was never a dull moment with Mike. His laughter was contagious, his energy uncontainable. He filled every space with life, mischief, and meaning. He was the foreman of fun, the architect of community, the yes-man to every adventure. These were the best times of my life. It is a strange feeling to know they’ve come and gone.
When he died, everything stopped. Everything we were building together, every dream we were tending, every part of the future I was working toward vanished in an instant.

Happy wedding anniversary to my dear love. One year of marriage (10/21/23) and ten years of loving together (10/18/14). It’s hard to believe that just one year ago, we exchanged vows against the breathtaking backdrop of the south coast. We were married where the mountains meet the sea, where we fell in love, and where we’ll continue to make memories together as long as we’re on earth. This land tells so many stories, including ours.

Celebrating a decade together has been an incredible journey, made even more special by sharing our wedding day with our closest friends and family. Looking back on our wedding photos fills my heart with joy and reverence for our family and friends, for all of the love and support they have offered us both over the years, and especially on our wedding day. Special shout-out to my mom and sisters for the countless hours they spent helping me plan and prepare. Thank you to my mom and sisters in law, all our Treebones family, and friends who came together to turn the land and Treebones Resort into the setting of our dreams. I will never forget this day. Ireland Part Two: Continuing around the coast on the Wild Atlantic Way and over to Dublin. Our England and Ireland adventure has sadly come to a close.
