As a LA Native it’s an honor to have an article written about my creative journey, my work with the community and my studio!! @430productions 📸 🎥

With all the accomplishments, hurdles and lessons learned with this venture, I am so proud that I have been able to create a safe space for my fellow Black Creatives. Closing out Women’s History Month with this one 🥂 💐

Although print may be a “dying” medium, this paper is historical to the LA Black community! I know my ancestors are proud with this one. 👁️

“They ask me what I do and who I do it for?”

I keep going because God said I can’t stop. I keep going for the next generation to see an example of something I didn’t have the privilege. I keep going to keep my dad’s creative legacy alive. I keep going for the babies. I keep going for my mental health. I keep going because when I leave here, I want to make sure I spent every talent God blessed me with.

To every person that showed up to my exhibit, poured love into me with messages and posts, everyone who let me know how I’ve inspired them, how I’ve captured them…

I keep going for US. This is for US.

(I have so much footage and photos from my exhibit, so I will be sharing with y’all over the next month 💋 🤗)
