THE O’NEALS✨12.31.23! New year. New last name! I love numbers and I thought that date would be so magical. S/O to my Mom for throwing us this ceremony bc we were going to just elope! Three weeks ago today I said ‘yes’ to forever. To my soon-to-be husband, thank you for choosing me and putting me first since our very first encounter. I can’t even begin to find the words to express the amount of joy you bring to my life. You make everything feel better and you find the light in every situation. We have so much fun together- I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much! I’ve been able to be my authentic self with you from the beginning and that’s been the most beautiful part about being with you. Your actions and intentions have been very clear since day one. You are so thoughtful with every single thing that you do for me. Your thoughtfulness and intent is seen through your actions, like the violinist and the careful thought you put into the song selections- Spend My Life With You x Eric Benét & Tamia, So High x John Legend, and Ribbon in the Sky x Stevie Wonder- all songs that you know I loveeee because of the meaning they embody in regard to love and the type of love I’ve always wanted to experience. You made everything about this day special. I still can’t believe you flipped my sweetest day plans on me and planned all of this. This is just a testament to your selflessness. Will, thank you for choosing me to be your wife. I promise to choose you over and over until we physically part from this life. Happy golden birthday to my only sibling, my right-hand man 💯 grand! I love you beyond words. I’m so proud of the man you’ve grown to be. I’m so thankful for how close we are even with living many miles apart these past 5 years! You continue to excel in your career and I couldn’t be more proud of you. Thank you to my husband for the most perfect pink surprise! All I asked for was a peaceful weekend with him and Wes, and he still pulled an uno reverses on me lol. Today I cried a few tears as I reflected on motherhood. The baby that was just beginning to coo around last Mother’s Day now has a mouth full of teeth, eating French fries and popping my hands back😂😭 Time is a thief. But I’m so thankful and blessed for each and every moment I’m getting to soak in with my SONshine. Being a mom has been the greatest gift.
