Well, ended up at urgent care...no, not from construction, but cooking. Utensil broke and made quite the cut in my thumb, 4 stitches. So all the stir-fry had to be tossed. So, day 2 of making stir fry, was successful with no injuries! Since I was properly dressed for the occasion, we went shopping at Walmart after the hospital. by @ksrusl

A few weeks ago, we made the trip to watch @annabellepancakewebb compete. We first met her a few years ago at an LPGA event, and she couldn't have been any nicer. Ever since then, we've enjoyed following her career.

Watching the Epson Tour was a completely different experience than the LPGA. There weren't many fans, which really made us realize how challenging and lonely it can be for these players. We were able to walk the entire course with Annabelle's family, and when she thanked us for coming out to support her, it meant a lot. It showed how much even a few people in the gallery can matter.

This past weekend, she picked up her first win of the season, and we couldn't be happier for her. This win moved her into 2nd place for the Race to the Card (to join the LPGA). After seeing firsthand the hard work and dedication these players put in every week, it made the victory even more special to watch.

Congratulations, Annabelle! Wishing you the best for the rest of the season. We'll be cheering you on and looking forward to watching you on LPGA tour next year. by @ksrusl

I have volunteered at 15 LPGA events, and every year I meet incredible people—whether it's fellow volunteers, spectators, or the players themselves.

When I say this sport is different than any other, I truly mean it. You're around the same people for several days, sharing experiences and conversations that often turn into lifelong friendships. It's one of the reasons I look forward to volunteering every single year. Last year was the first time in five years that I missed the CME Championship… and no, it wasn't because I was playing. 🤣

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to meet some amazing players, but this year will be one I'll never forget. I had the chance to walk with a couple of players who were not only outstanding golfers but genuinely funny, humble, and all-around great human beings, @melaniegreen.golf and @haileecooper

Moments like these are what make volunteering so rewarding. The golf is incredible, but the people you meet are what keep you coming back year after year.

In fact, this is exactly why my retirement plan is simple: work for 14 more years, then spend my retirement volunteering at as many LPGA events as they'll let me… until they finally decide they might as well put me on the payroll! ⛳🤣 taken in Midland, Michigan by @ksrusl

Happy heavenly Father's Day Daryl Russell. I finally was able to replace out the ice-storm damaged flagpole. Even got a new flag flown above the capital in your honor. by @ksrusl

Have to say, this is the best game we've been to all year. It may have been the first one of the year, first one of the season, but we made it! by @ksrusl

Not only did we get to cleanup the yard, we witnessed the sad burning of the Long Lake Bar today. We were just getting packed up ready to head out when we heard tons of sirens. Hoping they are able to quickly rebuild. by @ksrusl

A cheap 2 dollar part that keeps the treadmill from working correctly. That potentiometer prevented the incline from working. After taking it off the machine, I did some research to find a replacement...and they stopped making this one 5 years ago. I ended up disassembling the sensor and repaired it. Back in working condition, and Nikki is happy! by @ksrusl
