“The Problem in my Head”
Prod. @mrshipp
____________

Artwork by: @mint.verbena

This one took a minute…or a year. Maybe two. It came in pieces, and weaved itself with all these things artist try to avoid talking about. So the mind begins to scratch out portions of one’s ideas, or oneself, losing grip of the norm all the while. Eventually, you come to a place of realization-you have to address those things you keep trying to scratch out. #basquiat was a great inspiration for this one, as he often allowed himself to be seen with no filter. Flaws, regrets, and misfortune were conduits to his art, and a clear reflection of what he felt. I love this cover. I needed this cover. It was the best way to show you where I’ve been, and who I am. ~🐺~

One for the greatest conduits to healing is love. And for once, the KiDD and the Wolf agree. There’s safety in finding someone who’s willing to accept all of you- the amazing you, and the broken you.

You Wouldn’t Understand
Prod. @mrshipp
🎥: @ol_bones
Dancers: @chadwickgaspard x @therealanasha

_______

When people ask “what’s wrong,” or “Are you okay,” how often are you honest with them? For the KiDD, he can hear the words, but he can’t seem to get them out. What would they sound like? Would people even care? The Wolf may not have all the answers, but he seems to understand what the KiDD is trying to say

_______

No clone, no twin, no doppelgänger…#gemini | The KiDD’s dreams are often vivid, but this one felt surreal. It seemed, once acceptance was on the table, the Wolf deemed it necessary to show his own hand. But that’s the truth of it all; acceptance. One day you look at yourself in the mirror, and you don’t just see the person, you accept them too
