First Snowboarder to infiltrate The Wall.

Honoured to have my sporting achievements recognized on the Fernie Ski Heritage Hall of Fame. Proud to be on the wall amongst an incredible group of people that make @ferniealpineresort so special.

Another season on the @freerideworldtour done. A cancelled event wasn’t an ideal spot on anyone’s bingo cards, but sometimes the mountain has the upper hand.

Finishing the season World Champion is a dream, but the Freeride family of athletes, staff, and supporters is the best part!

Work hard, chase your dreams, but remember that results or scores don’t determine your worth.

Thanks to everyone who has supported along the way, mom and dad, @ferniealpineresort @the_choice_shop @doing_business @spysnowboarding @salomonsnowboards @volcomsnow

The 2023 FWT Champ is back. 🙌

@ktand is the 3rd women’s snowboard athlete to punch her ticket to the 2027 Freeride World Tour. After two seasons out from injury, she earned her spot on the Pro circuit through the Region 2 @ifsafreeriders Challengers 💪

Welcome back!

The Fast and the Furious: IFSA Challengers

3 comps in 6 days. It was intense.

My goal was to win the challengers. I finished just short of that in second overall, and it’s okay because it was never about the outcome but rather the process.

I’m happy with how I rode given the variable conditions. My knee is feeling super solid, but I wasn’t that motivated to huck my meat into bad snow and I rode to my strengths. I could have ridden more strategically to get points, but I tried to keep my comp runs true to my riding style. (Slide 2 scored 2nd last, but was the run I enjoyed the most 😇)

Mentally it was a lot harder to return to competitions than the expected, but I’m glad I did. The women’s field is charging right now, and filled with some incredible ladies ❤️

We’ve been asking it for years, and the ladies are proving IT’S TIME we see 2 women per region go to the FWT.
