🌟 It's amazing how more than 20 artists from the Palace Cinema Art Collective and Translocation Collective have transformed empty studio spaces into vibrant hubs for events and exhibitions at our Hypha Studios Kentish Town in just 1.5 years. This transformation not only allows the artists to have spaces to create and research but also helps them build wider networks and deeper connections. It's so exciting to see! Don't just take our word for it, see what their feedback is: "The variety of events we have on offer since beginning this residency has also established a rapport with the local community, opening up so many professional and human connections that wouldn't have been available to us otherwise." - Sara David / Hanya Elghamry "Learning from the other artists has been invaluable and has let me develop some of the skills that aren't really taught at art school, but are so essential for curating/organising." - Ellen Warner "I was about ready to give up on art life but this opportunity has helped me find my feet and an independence I never knew I had." - Dan Wilkinson "Having a dedicated studio has been transformative. After working remotely for several years, the shift to a physical workspace has brought structure, motivation, and a renewed sense of creative momentum." - Aishwarya Sanchety Keep your eyes on the Palace Cinema Art Collective and the Translocation Collective for the transformation they have created in the Kentish Town, Camden area with Hypha Studios. by @ktcivicactionlab

The Civic Action Lab is staying open until January 2027! We're pleased to share that the Civic Action Lab will continue as a vibrant home for creativity, community and collaboration for even longer While building works for the future Kentish Town Neighbourhood Space have been pushed back due to delays in appointing a contractor, this means we have more time to make the most of the space. In partnership with @hyphastudios , we'll be extending the temporary artist studios, gallery and community space until January 2027. Keep an eye on @palacecinemaartcollective and @translocation.research for information about their upcoming workshops and exhibitions. While we're eager to move forward with the project, this delay gives us an opportunity to continue making use of the space in the meantime and offer more activities and events for local residents. If you're interested in using the space for a community-focused organisation, event or programme, please apply via the link in bio. by @ktcivicactionlab
