Hey! こんにちは！👋

I’m Kat (aka @kthecurator), an artist manager from Aotearoa New Zealand 🇳🇿

Part artist cheerleader, part music detective, part professional rabbit hole explorer.

I’m currently managing STATIC, an alt-rock band from Kirikiriroa, Hamilton, NZ. When I’m not working with the band, I’m usually discovering new music, and connecting with creative people from all over the world.

Lately I’ve been diving deeper into Japan’s alternative, shoegaze, indie, and rock scenes and finding so many incredible artists along the way.

A few completely unnecessary facts about me:

🥁 I’m a 3rd generation drummer (a very shy one)

🌏 Language collector. English, Croatian, Chinese, and enough Spanish, French, and Japanese to get myself into trouble

📀 I own over 2,000 DVDs and Blu-rays and somehow still need more

📚 I love reading books about real people doing real (and occasionally bizarre) things

🐈 I answer to three cats

Last friday was SO SICK ✨️
Thank you for bringing such awesome energy, was so special sharing some new songs with you for the first time. And us all singing I'm So Sick is def a new core memory 🙂‍↕️
