Hi! I’m Katie, the face behind KTRDigitalDesign! I’ve spent so much time lately designing banner templates that I realized I should really make one for my own account...so here we are! If you’re new here, I create aesthetic, easy-to-use Canva templates for authors and Bookstagrammers. I’m all about helping you build a trendy and cohesive feed without spending a million hours in Canva. It’s funny, I’ve always loved reading, but I didn’t even know this amazing community existed until I started designing templates. Since then, it’s been such a fun journey connecting with all of you and sharing what I love. I’m so happy to have you here! You can expect to see plenty of Canva and design tips I’ve picked up along the way, new templates, my own reading updates, and of course lots of freebies! Thank you again for being here and for letting me do what I love! My DM’s are always open if you want to chat about anything book, template or Canva related. 🩷 Katie, xo Bookstagram templates, bookish content creator, template design, author templates, author services, canva templates, bookstagram tips by @ktrdigitaldesign

When I’m not designing (or with my horses), you can usually find me reading or listening to an audiobook. These are just a FEW books I’m never not thinking about. Do we share any of the same favorites?! 🤍 by @ktrdigitaldesign
I’m back with some more free Canva element sets I’ve discovered lately while I’ve been working on templates! If you swipe through to the end, you’ll find instructions for how to enter the set code into the element search bar inside Canva. Happy creating! When it comes to creating templates, I find the hardest part of getting started (and often the most time-consuming!) is putting together color palettes & font combinations that feel cohesive. It’s actually physically impossible for me to move on with a design in Canva until the fonts and colors *feel* just right 🙄 (IYKYK). And then finding design accessories that match the vibe? That’s a whole other time-consuming layer! If you can relate (or would rather skip this part completely), I’ve put together a few mood boards, each with a color palette, Canva font combination (that you can see in action), and design element ideas that all work well together. Feel free to use them as a little inspiration shortcut for your next Bookstagram post! ✨ I’d love to know too, which aesthetic is your favorite… mood board 1, 2, or 3? Happy creating! Sharing some more free Canva fonts (as book tropes of course!) incase you’re looking for a little bit of design inspiration today! Or save this for the next time you’re working on content & get stuck trying to find the *perfect* font. 🪄✨ Did any of these fonts catch your eye?! I’d love to know which one(s) if so! 🫶🏻 Happy creating! Since I’ve been working on a bunch of new Bookstagram reel templates lately, I thought it might be helpful to share some of the tips I’ve learned along the way about using Canva’s video editor. Even though these tips are all *little details*, I feel that being aware of them would have made things a whole lot easier had I known about them from the start! 😅 So if you’re new to Canva or maybe you haven’t used Canva’s video editor before, I hope this post gives you a boost of confidence to check it out and play around! And if you swipe through to the end, you’ll see I’ve just added a new Photo Dump Reel Freebie Template to my Freebie Vault! Comment ‘VAULT’ below or check out the link in my bio to get a free copy! A few free Canva fonts that have become favorites to use in my templates lately! ✨ A couple of quick tips: - Adjusting letter and line spacing (found under ‘Advanced Settings’) can be helpful whenever you’re playing around with fonts to help get the look *just right*. - You can check to see if a font has a drop-down tag next to it (in the font menu) with different font thickness options for extra versatility as well. Let me know if you see any of your favorite fonts here, or a new one that you want to test out! 🩷 Happy Creating! Katie xo PS.
