HAS ANYONE ELSE READ MORNING GLORY MILKING FARM?!? This was such a pleasant surprise and I want to know if anyone else has read the rest of the series!! Excited to read the only John Gwynne series I haven’t read!!

It was such a great reading month!! I really liked or loved every single one!! I listened to them all on audiobook except for Arkana and Washwoman because they don’t have one yet! The ALCs from The Incendiary and Fangs were out of this world!! Getting to hear Elizabeth Evans back in SJM world was great, and the Threshing Day audio was SO fun! Some big series and some new ones ( Artisan & Curse of the Fates ♥️)…I loved em!!

Arkana by Runyx 🖤🔥

Dark academia, forbidden romance, creepy dark castle, unexpected twists!

I didn’t do a great job in this video of explaining the premise so here is the blurb!

From New York Times bestselling author RuNyx comes the highly anticipated prequel to Gothikana: Arkana―a tale of lush, suspenseful, dark gothic romance.

A rumored sorceress. A ruthless lord of science. A cursed castle. What could go wrong?

A desperate woman, Lenore Emmeranne comes to the University of Verenmore―an elite institution of scientific learning perched high in the mountains―summoned by a mysterious offer of employment. On the run from misfortune and accusations, Lenore, who has always had a gift for healing, hopes Verenmore will provide her with a clean slate. She plans to keep her head down and blend into the shadows. But upon her arrival, she discovers it is not only the lord of the castle who is in need of help. It is Verenmore itself.

Lord Draven Constantine, dean of the university, is a man of science and discipline, revered by his students. The last thing he wants is someone like Lenore disturbing his ordered world, and the secrets he must keep buried. But her presence shatters his ennui, sparks a dangerous fascination, and their descent into doom begins.

Set in 1872 in a dread castle perched on a dark mountain where death and deceit stalk the unknowing, Lenore and Draven must navigate lies as they surrender to forbidden desire, cling to life, and to each other.

Some desires can end in ruin.

And so begins a gripping tale of the gothic and the grotesque. An unusual and deeply passionate story about a love that blossoms in the unlikeliest of places.

Thank you to @torbooks as @netgalley for the eARC! #bookstagram #runyx #arkana #darkfantasyromance #bookrecs by @ktreadslater

The Incendiary by LJ Claren ALC Review👏🏻👏🏻
Audiobook out 10/27!!!
This story is so great and I was so excited to be lucky enough to get an ALC! I received one for the Silversmith so I knew I was going to get the amazing narration from Savannah Thomas!! And she absolutely delivered once again!! Amazing work with all the different voices, so much emotion and excitement! You just can’t help but feel it all! I was literally raging in my car over some of the horrific and frustrating characters, and there was probably steam coming out of my ears. Savannah brought out my emotions even more through the audiobook. Honestly, Aiden Snow isn’t my cup of tea when it comes to male narrators, so I was a little nervous to listen, but it was actually good! He sometimes sounds like he’s bored in other books, so I was nervous I wasn’t going to give the passion from Gavin, but it was good! He did a great job with Elias too. As for the story- It was already a 5⭐️ and this audio made it even better!! Gavin is the ultimate MMC and Ary is so lovable!! This story is a rollercoaster of emotion! The feelings I was feeling were insane!!! I was swooning, raging, and cheering!! This is an all time favorite series and I can’t wait for the next book!!! This story is a rollercoaster of emotion mixed with a great plot!! If you want a great audiobook, this book is fantastic!
Thank you to @rbfictionaudio and @netgalley for the ALC👏🏻
