Told myself I would keep this brief because our attention spans’ these days are short as hell 😂😅.

This collection doesn’t exist without ‘Inspire The Dream’ or ‘My Story Matters’ (do your research). This collection doesn’t exist without pioneers in the space like @mvp.dg , @miniflotus , or @portiablunt who all paved the way for young black creatives like myself and @jjordvn at NB.

Our main goal this year was to create a collection that will live on and age like fine wine.

@jjordvn - my road dawg.. thank you for being relentless during the sampling process and trusting your gut my brother, look what it created. @jameel_chris - you went dummy on the apparel silhouettes and fit bro. That crewneck is the one! 😇 @ayocjay - people will freak when they see the material execution in hand.

Bringing on @joefreshgoods as Creative Director couldn’t have been a more natural fit. Telling authentic and compelling Black stories isn’t an easy task. Joe has a ridiculously talented team that helped bring this project to life. Thank you again my brother for agreeing to amplify this project.

It’s been at least a year and a half since we’ve been working on this project so I’m beyond excited that it’s finally here. It’s my pleasure to present to you, Conversations Amongst Us. 2002R, 550 and apparel are available today 4/15, globally.

When creating the Maxey v1, we agreed that the silhouette needed to feel like Tyrese while being undeniably New Balance. Extremely proud of the team 🥹.
