I made an album of pieces I’ve written on the guitar. It’s called A Plot on Your Wall; it now lives in the bio of my Instagram profile and in all of your streaming services. I feel thankful to share it with my community of friends, who steadily drew the songs out of me. I recorded them on very old strings and a creaky bench. @ktsung painted the cover at our kitchen table. I loved watching her anchor her pinky on the canvas and squint in search of my spirit. Hope to play for you soon. by @ktsung

Back in January I made these little comic entries in my Hobonichi weekly pages. Please enjoy 🤍 Translated text in captions and minor spoilers for Wuthering Heights ahead. me and ichabod take a little nap in the sun 🖤 Recording Violin w/ Tyler Listening to Tyler’s album. It’s so beautiful. Tyler goes to Avatar 3 and I take a bath that’s too cold! Cold outside! Cold inside! Feeling like snow bunny. I started making pilates flash cards. Why does crab exist? Diana kicks my ass playing Connect Four. I beat her at Yahtzee even though I did not know what was going on. Black Hole Morning (aka idk what happened) Eye Appt, from perspective of eye chart, “um, yea, ok. I see a 30 year old woman who needs to wash her hair?” A frazzled woman working alone at the post office. The eye dr. tells me no one asks when he graduated anymore. I tell him I get asked by pedophiles if I’m still in [high] school. Eep. Sweet Ichabod laying on me after my bath. I watch Cooking Heaven Challenge for Culinary Class Wars. Go Brewmaster Yun! Train Dreams ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had to call Tyler after dead wife movie. Marcelo Hernandez 🖤 The kids are all right Yoga @ Solhaus. I have a headache after the hot yoga but my chest feels much better. Potato soup & salad. I listen to Las Culturistas and drive to Sticker Shop and Plaza. Art Supplies are expensive possibility. Cassie and I crush Overcooked again. Remember women couldn’t own credit cards [until] 1970 “Humility is the only thing you can’t afford.” RHOSLC season finale. Coffee & banana bread. Skateboarders going out into the street and back. It’s like 60 degrees, sun finally shining. Uncanny because it’s winter!!! I wake up early to work on my film! New tactic. Our hard blow away as we fight the wind. “Greatest love story ever told?” The characters in Wuthering Heights are bratty and unlikable. !!! Catherine dies in Wuthering Heights and there’s still so much book left! I try to write a new pilates class. I call my mama while we both make chicken noodle soup. I realize my sleep gummies are 2mg instead of 5mg. I send a nicely worded email. Brantley picks me up. The Pitt episode makes me cry sooo much. DC MB Wu by @ktsung

Command + F: Self-portrait bits and bobs ✏️🤓 I recently did a huuuuuge scanning party of all my sketchbooks and journals. So now I get to share these gems such as: Reality TV Host Circle of Hell, prompts and reflections from @tyagoodwin’s Design Theory class, and scribbly diary fits from Cancun. One of my favorite reasons to draw is to capture moments from my life and explore how I’m feeling. Another favorite reason is drawing goofy fanart of comedians like Chris Fleming. All on paper, colored digitally, no fucking AI 😘 by @ktsung

Behind the scenes of painting Tyler’s album cover 💚 This painting was done over 6+ sessions spanning from winter into spring. Before this, I had not worked on a painting over multiple sessions in a very long time, and definitely not with someone who knew me so closely. We would sit together in the evenings, me listening to loud pop music and Tyler listening to podcasts, while Ichabod would desperately try to capture our attention again. It was Tyler’s direction to incorporate the green light, bringing something mysterious and synthetic to the otherwise earthy music. When I got to listen to early iterations of the album, the visuals clicked, and somewhere along the way the likeness was found. My favorite songs are “Isn’t It Obvious” and “Kiss in the Engine Room.” by @ktsung

Back in April I did some live portrait drawing for @tmbtitwi’s Final Friday event. It was a great night to do one of my favorite things. The evening also featured @gracelincolnandthenightowls’s music and @hartandcru wine — an honor to be among other Cincinnati creatives! I left feeling so full of love for our city. I’d love to do more live drawings at events like these or weddings or parties with lovely or sillier caricatures, you pick the vibe. Reach out if you’re interested! 💌 taken in The Most Beautiful Thing In The World Is by @ktsung

From a brilliant mind, comes a brilliant design! 🎨 Watch as our 2026 Cindependent Film Festival graphic designer walks through her creative process that got her to this year's poster. Making a movie takes a village. So creating a poster where everyone person & every step along the way was represented, was top priority.
