Final pics of the jellyfish creature I painted for @nevernormal_bkk. I made a live painting g for a silent party. So we chose a very silent animal. It was quite a hustle to paint this 15m curved wall with 36 degrees heat in just 2 days, but I’m quite satisfied with the result. No projector, no grids. And I learned a big lesson about perspective on this one! Thanks again to @its.bee.creative and @aomster for making stuff happen, even in hard times. Already missing Thailand! 🖤

Panther Pilz.
My wall for this years @leipzigmuralfest. Thanks for the opportunity for finally painting a proper wall in my city, Leipzig. Also many thanks to everyone who came out to show love and support through the process. I must admit that it was quite a tough one for me. But in the end it all worked out fine and I’m really happy with the result! 🍄
The panther cap is a local mushroom which is highly poisonous, even more than the fly agaric. That’s why it’s also called ‘Sachsentod’. But in small amounts it can be also highly psychedelic - so watch out!

Well brunettes are fine man, and blondes are fun, but..

These are the photos of my most temporary piece ever, painted last November in Tbilisi, Georgia.
It didn’t even last 10 minutes before I had to remove it. In the end everything is temporary and we will all go the way of the dodo, but..
.
I learned a lot because I had to be very fast, and when you paint fast you tend to do mistakes. So you can only learn. I have some good takeaways from this process, and I discovered my love for red.

Portrait 06/24

This mural, which I painted a few weeks ago in Barcelona, is based on a photo that my friend @mirkopolo took a while ago in Trinidad and Tobago.
It shows a boy wearing horns, for something like a carnival.
I really liked the look in the boys eyes and the whole atmosphere of this photo.
The sadness and uncertainty in his eyes reflects the current state of the world for me, so I found it quite fitting, to paint it now.
I’m happy how the colour and the gradient of the background turned out, as I was very limited with colours and materials. This adds up a lot to the whole atmosphere.
And what I like in particular is how the painting changes over time, as the sun sets, and the city lights turn on.

Just some ravens, feasting on a human heart.
Last year was very hectic and full of changes.
The most exhausting but probably also the most exciting year of my life. On every key moment the ravens appeared.

Rot & Chrom

Another very cool project from last year that I didn’t get a chance to post yet.
I had the opportunity to paint the @berlinbraves headquarter again for the 25th @berlinmarathon.
This time we dipped the whole thing into a shiny red&chrome. Additional I painted a mural on the side wall that shows the current running collection, a collaboration between @berlinbraves and @banditrunning. The whole collection was sold out in 15 minutes. All in all it was a very cool event and project. Thanks to @joeyelgersma , @berlinbraves and @banditrunning for the opportunity!
